I think rlp is right. But I also agree with UVGF. Everything all leads up to the fat guy with the bagpipes and his infamous "master" Apparently, the dude at the Inn will not let us stay there, so I think the best would be to stuff ourselves with rations and supplies and head to the mountains. Where is specter?

I don't know, i think we chased him to a house, and then he ran off somewhere...

... That's right. But a villager will come in here some time. As outsiders, the only ones here, that we know of, we'll be blamed almost instantly, if we are the only ones. We'll probably be blamed anyway, because of our weapons. If we are going to leave, we should leave quickly, or maybe leave someone behind to attempt to explain. Either way, we probably won't be able to return for a while. I say we meet with this 'master' of his. Chances are he knows something, or he, despite his remote place, has some control over the people.

Damelon recovers a dark materia orb. He know has the Summon Titan Materia (Earth magic, 24 Mp).

You all quickly refill your health from accessories and fill yourselves to the bulk with rations. Each person now has 5 potions, 3 ethers, and 2 Phoenix downs. Also, you all have robbed the store empty. Damelon gains 242 trines, rlp gains 130 trines, Degenerate gains 215 trines, and UVGF takes 250 trines. The shop is now empty of supplies.

Hmm, from the letter, it seems that whoever is on that mountain (the "master"), is ready and waiting for us. But one thing bothers me... How come that fat green man didn't want us to go there? If the master is practically inviting us, then why would the bagpipe dude not want us to follow his master's order? Sigh...this is so strange.

Welcome back, Sparticus.

It is evening time, and you are standing at the foot of the mountain, and as you gaze up, you can see that it's peak is high above the clouds. As you all feel, maybe the solution to this mystery lies at the top of the mountain, so you all start up the mountain. You travel up a tiny, narrow path, that twists and turns, and there are some places where you have to stretch against the side because of the narrow footspace.

By nightfall, you come to a small area on the mountain. There is no path that goes up, so you decide that the only way up is by climbing the ledge. You are a several thousand feet above, and you can look out and see the small village of Fincrole, silent in the dark night. Everyone is tired. There is some raggedy-looking tent equipment lying on the ground. Either you may stop and pitch up the tent and rest here, or hurry up and continue your journey and try to reach your destination sooner.

The setting sun goes down. Everyone helps set up the tent (except for lazy Degenerate, that is). It is meant for only 4 people at a time, so someone will have to be watch. Damelon stays outside and keeps watch for the early part of the night.
