"Good question," states a passing constable. "I don’t think that was made clear in the brochure. The first emboldened answer given at a particular location will represent all visitors at that location regardless of their tour group affiliation. It is the only one that needs to be given and the only one that will be accepted. You do not need to give an additional answer, Pi.
Coins are distributed based on the presence of the tour groups, not on which tour group actually answers the question. If a correct answer was given by the member of the other tour group then your tour group will still earn a share of the coins by virtue of your presence."

Dang it, I've been so caught up in things locally that I entirely forgot that the vacation had already started. Which means I ended up facing an emu, at random. Heavens.
If I understand the rules, we've got about another 31 hours to post an answer? If that's the case and there's indeed no rush, then I'd tend to agree with DP: leather care. (If I've done some grotesque misreading of the rules, can we consider that bolded?)
Incidentally, while I'm asking questions: if I were so presumptuous as to post something in bold, everyone would have completed their actions. In that case, would there still be a 31-hour wait until the actions were resolved? |

Ack, I completely forgot that it was time for vacation to start! Obviously I'm working too hard.
I know very little about emus, or their oil, but I'm pretty sure it isn't "dietary supplement." And I can't remember ever seeing emu oil listed in a skin care product. That leaves leather care; the only oil I've ever heard about being used in leather care is mink oil, but I can't see any reason emu oil wouldn't work.
So I guess I vote for leather care, too. |

"I can answer that," says a passing constable. "The moderator would prefer that the answer actually be emboldened to be considered official."
Incidentally, while I'm asking questions: if I were so presumptuous as to post something in bold, everyone would have completed their actions. In that case, would there still be a 31-hour wait until the actions were resolved?
"If all actions are completed before the time limit, the moderator may choose to expedite the next round. It will normally depend on when the moderator is logged on to verify the actions."

| I'd like to place a fourth vote for the leather care. Maybe we should go ahead and bold it? |

That's four out of nine, and many of the others here in Emuland may have also forgotten to check in. Not that I want to copy everyone else's early posting, but the last thing I want is to be emu-late. (Groan.)
So: leather care. (It was so darned hard not to bold [i]you use it to oil your emu![i]) |

Round 2: Movement
After giving the answer "Burying the head in the sand" at the Ostrich enclosure, the guard bobs its head in approval. It bows reverently and backs away from the pedestal allowing visitors Visitors i_h8_evil_stuff, jesternl, mikegoo, PuzzleProdigy and RequiemEternam to retrieve the coins, with one coin going to the Lano-Catru group and one coin going to the Ocagru group. The visitors scratch the film off the map in this area, and find the map gives directions to the Penguin Pool, the Cuckoo Clock and the Turkey Trot. There are also directions to the Gazebo
After giving the answer "Leather goods care" at the Emu pens, the guard bird screeches with discontentment. The guard stomps on the feet of the visitors and then swallows the coins. As the emu runs off to join his comrades, its necklace slips off and the correct answer "Human skin care" is revealed on the reverse side of the necklace. Visitors Bozzball, Corsato, Dragon Phoenix, Hitchhiker, Mentat, mole, Saxifrage, Sofis and Tahnan are unable to reveal any new locations on the map in this area. The map simply gives directions to the Gazebo.
After giving the answer "Danny Devito" at the Rhea circle, the guard bobs its head in approval. It bows reverently and backs away from the pedestal allowing visitors jadesmar, mikeamok, Pi and Qaqaq to retrieve the coins, with one coin going to the Lano-Catru group and one coin going to the Ocagru group. The visitors scratch the film off the map in this area, and find the map gives directions to the Parrot Lanai, the Lark Forest and the Stork Club. There are also directions to the Gazebo
After giving the answer "Coral Sea" at the Cassowary exhibit, the guard bobs its head in approval. It bows reverently and backs away from the pedestal allowing visitors Agamemnon, Duphrates, referee, Tablesaw and Termital to retrieve the coins, with one coin going to the Lano-Catru group and one coin going to the Ocagru group. The visitors scratch the film off the map in this area, and find the map gives directions to the Raven Study, the Finch House and the Cardinal Store. There are also directions to the Gazebo.
Lano-Catru Balance: $3
Ocagru Balance: $3

Skin care? I'm going to have to start reading those lotion bottles more carefully.
I'm a bit confused as to what we can do now. We go back to the gazebo, presumably, but then what? |

| The last time we wandered through something Ratitian, we could go to any open location. However, our map only shows four locations--we don't have directions to, e.g., the Parrot Lanai. So I'm not sure. |

| A constable approaches the group at the Emu pens and offers assistance. "You can move to any location that is findable by following the directions on a map or a series of maps," the constable explains. "For example, from here you could return to the Gazebo, then follow directions to the Ostrich enclosure and then to the Penguin pool. You merely need to indicate your final destination in bold, and make sure there are no obstacles along the path." |

"Penquin"? Now I have this image of Rogue wandering around a tidal pool eating fish because she's played by Anna Penquin. |

| Absolutely, Pi. Even if you don't know the answer, as long as the other tribe does, we make money. And if we don't represent, we're not just losing $1 -- we're giving the other tribe the other coin! |
