This is the game of yarn. It is somewhat simmiliar to acrophilia, but with much more leeway for creativity. The mod (That's me) starts the game off with some phrase. Then everyone who is playing submits (by e-mail or aim) the next bit of the story. It must be between 1-3 sentences long.

After I have all of them, I post them in a list, and the players vote (again by e-mail or aim) on which one they like best to be the next section of the story.
The scoring is exactly like acrophillia:
1 point for each vote yours recieves
2 for the most votes and having your entry as the next lines of the story
1 point for voting for the winning entry
And of course you can't vote for your own.

In case of tie, the longer (by number of words) breaks ties.
After this, I post the story up to that point, and players submit new entries.
After 9 rounds, the last round is the Moral round, in which all points are doubled. This last round is special, in that I will provide the start, and your entry must be 1 sentence that finishes the line "The moral of the story is: ..."

Questions?

Ok, here's the start of our story:

Joey was an odd kid. When he was young...

Submit if you're interested in playing. I'd like to make the cut off 3 days. We'll see if I get any response at all.

No prob. Here are the submissions for the first round:

Joey was an odd kid. When he was young...

1--...he used to brush his teeth and his hair with the same brush. Not only that, but he also used to wear all white, except for the black belt around his waist. He looked a lot like a...

2--...he was the oldest kid in his group of peers by at least seven years. Joey used to walk 15 miles to school each morning, across broken glass, 18 foot snowdrifts and 110 degree heat, and uphill both ways. Joey always knew that when he grew up, he'd be a grandpa.

3--...he flossed his teeth every day. That may not sound very weird, but he was only three months old, and his teeth hadn't come through his gums yet.

4--...he had a pet dracula. He would feed it by trapping unsuspecting old ladies who tried to pinch his cheeks. This worked until....

Send votes. Don't vote for your own.

was word's, 3 mith's.
Mith's entry is longer, and thus wins the tie break.

Scores:
Mith 4
Word 3
Neo 1
Shadow 0

Send for round 2. And anyone else can send too. Feel free to join at any time.
