What's wrong? When editing the above chess posts, i get a scrambled textarea, with no buttons (no nothing) underneath it.

Actually it's very likely that it's my mistake...

Only the first two 'Chess' posts (replies #1 and #2) behave like that, and it might be due to the fact that i did not like the extra space between the bottom <hr> and the white-pieces player. I put that name on the same line with the chess tags. Could that have screwed it up??
And if yes, how could it be repaired?
