Rule #0: Every one who posts must add a new rule, while following all previous rules. Each violation of a rule gets 1 buzz, and the rule the violates previous rules is thrown out. You're out if you collect 10 buzzes. To buzz another player, you must mention the rule they violated.
Rule #1: ALL "L"'s must be uppercase. |

*buzzes PP*
The L in "Rule" wasn't uppercase.
*buzzes jade*
Your rule is no longer rule 2, since PP's was tossed out.
1. Have each rule in the form of an imperative sentence.

GL DPWestley: I had my backspace key removed and a beverage dispenser pur in it's place. See? I can't go back and fix "put."
GLmathgrant: I once was banned from a M:TG tourney for bringing over 50 banned cards! They were Ace of Clubs, Ace of Diamonds, Ace of Hearts, Ace of Spades, 2 of Clubs. . .

1) I think there should be a panel of judges to decide on rule infractions.
2) I think the usual Rule Game rules should apply: no edits or deletes, and a new round starts whenever a rule is thrown out.
3) But PuzzleProdigy is the one to decide this.

BUZZ! Coyote's rule provides too much leeway. If we're allowed to start breaking rules, then we can break his rule by breaking several other rules. We could make virtually any rule we wanted as long as it disobeyed a rule excluding his.
BUZZ! casinopete's rule, even with Coyote's rule intact and with the clause that we may not break it, you lose because you broke two other rules -- the no ending in vowels, and the underline vowel endings.
I hope I didn't sound too long-winded.
100. Mention either Pokemon or Greek Myth in each of your Daedalian posts.

But what if the rule he broke was Coyote's rule? And he broke it by breaking 3 previous rules (Namely Coyote's, no ending in vowels, underline all words with vowels).
I do agree that Coyote's rule is problematic, however.
*Gavels* Coyote's buzz on you for pokemon is upheld.
You are also buzzed for neither mentioning yourself, nor capitalizing all L's in your post. |

mathgrant: i followed Coyote's rule because it was currently in force
i broke the rule about no ending in e's
the underlining "e" words rule, though, had already been disqualified for not counting in binary, so i did not break it. |

| Coyote's rule contradicts Rule 0. While this in itself is not breaking a rule, it does break the game (all rules after that would be thrown out by his or rule 0), so contradictions should not be allowed. |

Rules in effect:
None.
Buzzes:
None.
Let's start over, shall we? (It's awfully difficult for one to post the rules minus loopholes.)
Hitchhikers suggestion #2 is in effect (game restarts after each broken rule)
5 buzzes for elimination.
No retroactive buzzing: If you toss out a rule with a buzz, you can't buzz someone for doing something only in effect after you toss out that rule.
No rules about disobeying rules, unless you spend at least 4 hours searching it for annoying loopholes.
Use common sense.
Recommence... |

Well, that's going to make things easy...we can all just copy and paste RubberDuck's rule from now on.
A couple of points of order before the 'buzz-happy' folks show up...should the 'Rule ##' part be subjected to the same rules as the rule itself? That is, could Beartalon be buzzed for failing to write it as 'Rul3 #100'? And should we make allowance for obvious typos? (Beartalon's use of the word 'pengiun', which is technically against the rules.)
[edit] sorry, was typing this while I_h8 was posting his reply.[/e]

What h3 means, w3 all do know. Speak with r3vers3d syntax, you must, penguin.
Unl3ss he can prov3 he sp3nt hours searching for loophol3s, a buzz to RubberDuck/Rubb3rPenguin.
Ruling: Rul3 #'s have to follow th3 rules. No buzz to B3artalon, as that was not yet 3stablished. P3nguin.
(not3: I did not have to follow th3 rules in th3 above s3ctions of rulings, but I felt lik3 it. I also fe3l like p3nguin.)
Rul3 111: Contain all of the l3tters in a U.S. stat3, your rule must, much lik3 any penguin.

It's easy to write a rule that contains all the letters of a US state.
It should be more restrictive. Like first letters of first few words.
A lagoon, a sour kumquat, and my aunt in New England!
