A strange viris has spread through the assassin's guild(or is it a major attack of guilt).
Four(4) of the ace crew leave very beleivable suicide notes-----
------Leonidas, Sparticus, RequiemEternam and Vegetable successfully make peace with their
Maker and are ready to face the ghosts of their multitude of victims.
------Duphrates, while aiming the barrel of his gun in his mouth hears Faeriefire
(not so stealthily) enter the room aiming her rifle at his head. Instinctively forgetting
his grief, Duphrates leaps at Ffire, causing her to unbalance and shoot the lampshade.
Duphrates gun accidentally goes off killing his intended assassin.
------Chuck is found at his local in a paranoid/ drunken state. Can you blame him.
Having come to terms with his guilt (as the blood stained suicide note in his
pocket reads) he is about to pull the trigger. Simultaniously MacadamiaN rushes in,
aiming to kill him and taking the deadly crossbow bolt meant for Chuck by Mackay.
Instinctively Chuck shoots Mackay clean through the head.
(2 more victims to your hit list mate).

Maximus still undecided was viewing his potential victims through the infra-red of his
railgun when all hell broke loose. The entertainment value caused him such laughter
that he shot the NAG'S HEAD sign, searing a hole straight through the horse's head.
(That could have hurt)

Long story short.

CHUCK is drinking his diet pepsi, and cleaning his blunderbus. Carefully measuring 6 drachmas of black powder into the barrel, followed by the wadding and the ringpulls of a case of diet pepsi,he carelessly drops his Havana into the flashpan. The ringpulls are now imbedded in the ceiling, and Chuck is temporarily deaf.


Meanwhile, and on the other side of the Atlantic, in a small town not particularly
close to London, DUPHRATES empties a complete magazine from his WW2 Schneisser into
a passing Concord, thereby hastening their extinction.


MAXIMUS while recharging his Railgun accidentally fires at Locolobo's cat Figaro, who having not spent his 9 lives ducks. The ray hits the 18th century fireplace mirror and reflects straight into his left eye. Death by misadventure.

From bloodlust to pacifism.
The Assassin's guild is at an all time low....."RECRUITS NEEDED", killers not wimps.

CHUCK still can't load his decrepid weapon, and still has a strange buzz in his ear.
Duphrates with his success at hitting airplanes, is practicing on kites and balloons.

Both shoot in the air.
Both live to fight another battle.

Perhaps chuck was never meant to be a member of the guild. The sheer guilt at being inadvertantly responsible for 2 deaths causes CHUCK to finally throw in the towel.
On finishing the loading of his great-grand-father's prized weapon (practice makes perfect), he rigs the trigger to self-fire aiming at his pillow. The sleeping pills are ready to consume with his finest single malt whiskey.

True to form DUPHRATES slams into the room, tripping over CHUCK and his contraption.
The 2 weapons simultaniously fire their bullets and diet-pepsi ringpulls leaving
CHUCK in a daze and DUPHATES DEAD AS A DOORNAIL.

To the roar of the crowd the unlikely hero downs the whisky in one gulp
and staggers to the Nag's Head. He'll nay be able to buy his own drinks this day.

CHUCK......Shot self---DUPHRATES shot CHUCK---CHUCK WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
