Below are sections of famous paintings.
You know the rules(Maybe you don't, so, NO GOOGLING etc, NO POSTING 2 IN A ROW (except when 24hrs have passed). Get on with it.
Artist : 1 point
Title : 3 points
Artist & Title : 5 points

PS: you might want to add the main rules (no googling etc, no two guesses in a row, except for 24 h rule), because this subject could attract different players.

I think this is probably very difficult. Heck, I am married to an artist, and I recognise only a handful. Allowing guesses without penalties would seem reasonable to me.

(When I first saw that you said I was wrong, I was like, "What the hell?" I'm sure I'm right. Then I fumed a bit, and had the uncomfortable "uh-oh" flash. I've always had trouble with forgetting that Caravaggio is a seperate person.)

OK. Just so I can steal it from casinopete, I'll have a go at D5: The Ambassadors by Holbein.
BTW, I assume "no googling" means no use of any reference material of any kind, eg books, calendars, chocolate box tops, other internet resources, even to confirm guesses?
