This is just like the geoquiz, except with music questions.

That and it's modded by me!

First question:

Name the four artists that hold the record (With 7 each) for the most albums on the US Top 200 charts at the same time

Aga, only 1 guess is allowed per post, as per the rules of the Geo-Quiz.

Lepton +1 (Beatles)
Aga -1 (Sparks)

hint: think of a reason that a particular band would suddenly have many albums on the chart at once. For instance with the Beatles it happened just after Lennon's death.

Eric Clapton, if you can include his Cream and Derek & The Dominoes albums, is worth a shot, I guess.

I see three possibilities. One, like the Lennon case, is death sparking new sales. The second is that there was a huge reunion/reunion tour, and the third is that whoever it is just got all their stuff converted to CD at once.

I'm gonna go with the reunion tour, and throw out KISS.

All are wrong except U2.

I decided to change the scoring. No penalties for wrong guesses.

Pete:1
Lepton:1

2 left. You are right, one of the reasons is related to a tour. The last is a different reason.

dethwing, you're killin' me.

I've been gathering questions like this for two weeks now to put together a Ridiculously Difficult Music Quiz myself, and you went and stole my thunder.

It's probably better you're modding this in any event, since I don't spend enough time here. Anyway, if you're hard up for questions to ask at some point, let me know and I'll e-mail you a few. In the meantime, I might as well jump in.

Going with the reissue theme, I'll say the Monkees.

The Monkees are right. Related to their TV show, is the reason they got so many at once.

Lepton:1
Pete:1
