Same here Tahnan.if I define personal-challenge to be "doesn't read the rules"
I decided to google the name of that obscure athlete, though, to make sure I spelt it right. |

Usually these things don't allow research, so I am quite happy not to use outside sources. As it was, though, the only one I used an outside source on was the letter Z - if I hadn't, I would have probably put zany or zeal but I was pretty sure someone else would get these, so I consulted my handy dictionary. I can't believe two other people put machete for the garden implement - I thought I might score 10 for that one!
Thanks, Aga, for the game.

| I protest. A root bear float is too a dairy product. It has icecream in it. |

I object. "Is your next idea of home improvement a moat?" is such a beautifully commercial. Why isn't this a garden implement?
And to at least keep me within less than 200% of some other players, my Slovakia answer should have been rated at 0, not at 1. Not that it matters much.
What i think matters more is that in the rankings, the tied up places are not 'compressed' Matthew would be 6th, and i would be 13th (if i counted right). |

| No research directly involved, but I did find Pinneped on a site I visited recently, otherwise I would have used one of the other player's choices. |

| You use a maul to knock fence posts, or any type of peg, into place (to surround your garden). A large version might also be called a sledgehammer, a small one might be called a mallet. |

| I have used a maul in my parents' garden in exactly the way Bearty has described. |
