Has the Tern Stile now been lost?
An islander dressed as Officer Lou walks up to Tahnan to answer. "Yes, I'm afraid that the tern stile was in referee's possession when referee was catapulted out of the resort so it's gone. Sorry that wasn't made clear."

| Having consulted with Tablesaw off-board and discovered that in fact none of us have seen the show, we're going to go with Lil (on the grounds that it sounds as reasonable a guess as Rose, Katy, or Deirdre). |

Round 15: Movement
"Clarinet," is the answer keyed into the cash register by jadesmar, jesternl, mikegoo and RequiemEternam. The proprietor of King Toot’s Music Store smiles as the cash register drawer slides open. Eight coins are retrieved from the till and the coins will be split between the Lano-Catru and Ocagru tour groups. Just outside the store is a map, and the visitors see what locations are revealed when the film is scratched off. The cleaned map gives directions to Springfield Elementary School, the Kwik-E-Mart, and Groons Harbor.
Visitors Corsato, Hitchhiker, Qaqaq and Saxifrage take their Krusty Burger place mat to the pimple-faced teenager at the counter and give the answer "McDLT." The cashier is initially a bit jumpy, but after he calms down and checks with his manager he tells the visitors that they came up with the correct answer and that they win the eight coins. The coins are split evenly between the two tour groups after one of the coins is used to clear the film off the map outside the restaurant. The visitors have instructions on going to Barney’s Bowl-A-Rama, The Android’s Dungeon and Groons Harbor.
The Moe’s Tavern visitors, Duphrates, Tablesaw and Tahnan, respond to the voice on the phone with the answer "Lil." The visitors hear peals of derisive laughter on the other end and then a click as the other party hangs up. "The correct answer to that question is Miss Kitty," says Moe to the group of visitors, "I’m afraid I’m gonna have to cut you off." Duphrates, Tablesaw and Tahnan amble out of the tavern and note that the map shows directions back to the adjacent Groons Harbor area.
At Springfield City Hall, visitors Agamemnon, mikeamok, mole and PuzzleProdigy report to the Department of Comely Lasses (between the Tax Assessor’s office and the council chamber) and give the answer "Thebes." The buxom clerks giggle with delight and verify the answer as correct. They are about to present themselves to the visitors when a JFK-like voice from behind a door beckoning summons the clerks to help him with his election. The clerks tender their regrets to the visitors and hand them the contingency award of eight coins. Both tour groups are present so the coins are split four apiece. A map outside City Hall, after a scratching session, shows the way to Stu’s Disco, Springfield Retirement Castle and Groons Harbor.
Lano-Catru Balance: $30
Ocagru Balance: $30

Round 15: Action
The following visitors have been randomly assigned to locations.
jesternl (Springfield Retirement Castle)
Tablesaw (Springfield Elementary School)
PuzzleProdigy, who has now gone two rounds in a row without a movement choice, suddenly catches a glimpse of a previously unnoticed attraction—the Springfield Mystery Spot. PuzzleProdigy ambles over to this concession, receives a ticket from a clown concessionaire and enters the Mystery Spot door. Once inside…
…well, at this point Islands Management really doesn’t know what happened to PuzzleProdigy—it’s a mystery. We do know that about a week later, PuzzleProdigy arrived home with only faint memories of recent experiences. Among PuzzleProdigy’s possessions at the time were a collection of seashells, a roll of overexposed film, and an autographed photo of Lucky Vanous.
At Springfield Elementary School, visitors Hitchhiker, mole, Saxifrage and Tablesaw roam the halls looking for a place to answer a question and win some coins. The islanders posing as Miss Hoover, Mrs. Krabappel, Mr. Largo and Lunchlady Doris are no help. Finally, the island’s version of Groundskeeper Willie shows up and says that the visitors will find their question in the science lab. The visitors rush to the lab and find this note attached to the Oscar Meyer periodic table: "Report to Principal Skinner’s office and answer this question correctly for eight coins…"
Of all the chemical elements whose symbol is a single letter, which has the highest atomic number?
The Kwik-E-Mart’s automatic door slides open and visitor mikegoo enter the highly stylized convenience store. "Would you like a Squishee today," asks an islander in stage-Hindi accent. This island version of Apu Nahasapeemapetilon also attempts to hawk a copy of the Springfield Shopper, some fried pickles, and a rare can of Skittlebrau, the beer with candy floating in it. "All I want is the trivia question that will let me win coins," mikegoo replies. Apu nods in understanding and retrieves a scratch card. mikegoo scratches off the first two panels of the card and discover two matching images of a Struthio coin with the number 8. mikegoo must make a choice as to which panel to scratch next based on the answer to this question.
What aptly named bird, considered the fastest flier among all living creatures, has been clocked at speeds over 175 kph?
Visitors Corsato and jadesmar arrive at Barney’s Bowl-A-Rama and decide to search for the question lane by lane. They disturb a few Holy Rollers, some Pin Pals, and a phony-French bowling instructor named Jacques, but find no evidence of a question. They walk over to the shoe counter and meet Barney the proprietor. Barney suggests that the visitors check out the nearby crane game. Sure enough, among the Ivy League diplomas and lobster harmonicas in the prize pile, the visitors discover a small sack filled with eight coins. This question appears next to the crane game controls.
What 1996 Farrelly Brothers film starred Randy Quaid as an Amish farmer with a hidden talent for bowling?
Predictably enough, visitors Agamemnon and mikeamok encounter a sarcastic, overweight "Comic Book Guy" at The Android’s Dungeon. "So do you have an actual name," one of the visitors asks. "Of course I do," snips the Comic Book Guy, "It appears in the opening credits on the cash register when Maggie is scanned by the cashier…right next to Waylon Smithers’ sexual orientation." The visitors realize that they aren’t going to get much sympathy from this character and decide to look for the question. They find this message next to a Mary Worth phone: "Dial the correct answer to this question and win eight Struthio coins."
What company published the first instruction sets for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game in the early 1970s and was acquired by Wizards of the Coast, Inc. in 1997?
At Stu’s Disco, visitors Duphrates, Qaqaq and Tahnan note many patrons having a great time shaking their groove thing to the dance hits of the 70s. The visitors are tempted to join the dancing, but they realize that they need to find Disco Stu in order to receive the question. There is a flash of strobe lights and a man with a brown afro, shiny leisure suit and way too many chest medallions enters the dance floor. "Disco Stu like disco music trivia," says the new arrival, and he walks over to the visitors and offers this question worth eight coins.
The David Shire dance arrangement "Night On Disco Mountain," which appeared in the film "Saturday Night Fever," is based on a composition by what Russian composer?
At the sad looking Springfield Retirement Castle, visitors jesternl and RequiemEternam are instructed by the receptionist to see Abraham Simpson for the trivia question. The visitors find Abe and ask about the question and how many coins can be won. "This question," Abe Simpson begins, "is one I learned in 19-dickety-seven from Conrad Nagel when we were looking for a wedding present for Windsor and Wally. Conrad told me that saving the nation from Prussian invaders was present enough, but I grabbed him by his turnip on his belt—which was the fashion at the time—and told him…" At this point the visitors begin to throttle Abe, and he quickly spews out this question.
In what part of a medieval castle would you most likely find alternating crenellations and merlons?
Lano-Catru Balance: $30
Ocagru Balance: $30

| Ah. Great. So which Russian composer wrote "Night on Bald Mountain" (and can anyone reliably spell it)? I'm thinking it was Mussorsky, which looks like it's spelled wrong no matter how I change it. Or was it Rimsky-Korsakov? |

My brain says "I remember this. Hmm.. Bill Murray was in this. Released just after that Dumb and Dumber Movie"
I say "... just tell me the name of the damn movie".
My brain then says "Ah yes, possibly also Woody Harrelson."
I say "Shut up brain before I stab you with a Q-Tip"
Brain meekly says "Kingpin?????" and waits for Corsato to confirm. |

I thought there was a "g" somewhere in Mussorgsky, but I couldn't figure out where. It still looks wrong. (You should have seen it when it was Mouseorski. OK, I was never quite that far off.)
Wow, $10 per person. That's...a lot. Although coins might well double to sixteen per location, the deeper we get. |
