Are there any mages who have the means to create a line of communication such as a crystal ball, between the traveling group and this town?
( This could be useful to either warn the town of danger or for the party to send for help )

Light armor could be useful ( Top body and head[not facial] only )

Anyway, people, I will have the next major post up by Friday. For now, you guys are allowed to pick ANY CUSTOMISED WHATEVER (but only one) as a special gift cos I've been running this thing pretty second rate since the beginning. You will have to pay for whatever you choose, but I will be generous in that respect.

[steps back from game] given the time period of the game, i assume that things like titanium have not yet been invented. Otherwise this would be a good strong lightweight material. Unfortunately, since this is not so, Steel is the toughest metal around, and copper or brass would not hold up against steel weapons for very long.[/sbfg]

I think that the best way to go for a tiger would probably be some form of chain mail. this would allow unrestricted movement, for the most part, but it is usually heavier than plate armor. Plate armor, however, doesn't protect as well, since there would be gaps, especially on hamstrings etc, that would be vulnerable. And plate armor doesn't flow, so it's often restrictive and hinders full range of motion.

Yes, I know I said I'd have a major post up by today, but even oracles have art coursework to do.... but then again, I have so much to say that this post will be big anyway. o_0

Shadow, my dear, of course you may go back and select whatever you wish from the market in Lucani. Don't spend too much, though. If any other players think they are carrying too much, you can either give items to Shadow or sell them back at 3/4 of the price you paid for them (due to stock changes ^_^).

Belts protecting you from evil cost 250 LC. An invisibility brooch will set you back 800 LC. Poison antidotes are currently free, because of a mass poison animal epidemic in nearby Scenio (which you will be moving onto next...mwahahaha) but Freya only has 3 left. Freya can't come with you, because she has all the citizens of Lucani to help, just like she helped you. However, she does have a crystal ball somewhere...

Trino is selling light armour (500 LC for body, 350 LC for head) and chainmail of any size is 475 LC. Clawed gloves will take some time to make, and will cost 1000 LC plus 50 LC for the courier to send it to you in Scenio, because you will be there once they are made. Shadow, if nobody wants the sword, Trino will pay you 250 LC for it.

Cassandra has decided to rule Lucani in your stead, so once you decide on an customised item you want from Freya, you can leave the town.

Juuni can still give you information if you want, but the Myths are coming to get her, so be quick...

Juuni waves goodbye and runs back into the city. As the large metal gates shut behind her, you glance at the note she has given you. It reads:

Leopards can climb trees. I don't know if tigers really want to, but i'm sure they could if they wanted. They are feline, after all.

You could just hold on to it. That way, if one of us loses a weapon we could buy it from you, or whatever, or if we need cash quick you could sell it later. Who knows, if you're carrying it when some sort of magic is aimed at you, it might strike the sword and imbue it with magical properties, thereby making it vastly more valuable Or if you really don't want to carry it around, just give it to someone else, like shadow. It's up to you really.
