Okay, so you guys are going to be on the road to Scenio for a while... to be exact, you will each need to post 5 messages before I will allow you to arrive, and I advise you to take the opportunity to ask questions and make plans.

I may also spring a random attack on you, of course this will take you above your 5 posts, so you'll be arriving and have chance to rest straight after the battle.

Well i've got some questions just to see if we can get any extra info: What kind of city are we going to? Is Scenio likely to be hostile toward travellers for any reson? Is it on a river or something, or by the ocean? Are we going to see any particular person?

Scenio is a much bigger city than Lucani, although it isn't any more modern. It has more places for you to go, and things for you to do. The people of Scenio, and their ruler, are not really all that hostile. Lord Mekon is friendly, and as anxious as you to destroy The Myths, but he has never before heard of the staff or its power, so you might not want to let him know about that... Scenio has a few lakes, but that's about it.

Uhm... Scenio is simply nearer to The Myths and in the right direction. Why, would you like to walk some more?

from what i gather by Kd's answer to my question, Lord Mekon is aware of the Myths and is/will be aware that our group is headed off to fight them. The only thing he doesn't know about is the staff, so let's not mention it if we don't have to, but we have a perfectly legitimate reason to be headed this way. The Myths must be destroyed!!! or something.

We might want to come up with an agreed upon reason why we're willing to risk our lives, but that's relatively simple (we could say that the Myths killed our best friend or something like that.)

we could just say that we're in it for the money, since the myths lair is sure to be full of riches plundered. or at least stuff that can be ransomed back to its owners. It might do in a pinch, or if we need to look more ruffian at any point. Like in a bar.
