Since I, for reasons explained here, deleted the old thread (Page 2, Page 25, Page 29), and since Hy tends to be rather unavailable during weekends (and because he's in the process of moving), it's probably a good idea to start a new thread in the meantime.
Feel free to use this thread for the purpose, or start another, as you please. |

| Strange thing that that just happened! I decided last night to save the whole 29 pages for offline review, and now i come back to find the topic deleted... What i want to ask anyone that might help is: "Has the REAL page 25 been saved somewhere?" That's the only page i saved 'wrong', b/c of the error (btw, WHAT was that error?)... |

Mole's post was the only relevant one misplaced (if you discount the entire threads fate). It's at the end of page 25. My guess is that the thread went back in time one month (or lost a month or something), note how it skips from April 23 to May 23 on page 25. If you tag on mole's response on the end of page 29 it makes sense again (or he could put it up on this thread). I was wondering where all those ISE's were going...:-p

jesternl (Holden) - irradiated
.
Day 3:
crazycellist (Waiter) - killed by replicants

Day 4:
crazycellist II (Doc Wheeler) - killed by replicants
no irradiation
.
Day 5:
mudster (J.F Seabstian) - killed by replicants
DP (bar owner) - irradiated
.
**first code given to replicants**
.
Day 6:
TokigHund (automation) - ceased to function
Macros (doorman) - irradiated
.
Day 7:
Antrax (Pris) - killed by replicants
The Cheshire Man (automation) - ceased to function
radwulf (Eldon Tyrell) - irradiated
.
**second code given to replicants**
.
Day 8:
OcularGold (bar manager) - killed by replicants
Zealot (Gaff) - killed by replicants
ralphmerridew (automation) - ceased to function
Purgation (dancer) - irradiated

HD there's a lot of Crap Logic (TM) in your last post of page 29.
| Quote: |
| We only have proof that there was one corp, Dr. Tyrell |
What do you mean 'proof'. WE have proof, YOU don't, YOU only have our word to go on for the corp's existence.
| Quote: |
| It would maker much more sense if Dr. Tyrell was the only corp character with his own abilities (perhaps a vigilante?) |
You're starting to make things up now. Your overactive imagination is giving Tyrell abilities which he didn't even claim himself before his lynch!
| Quote: |
| and the replicants have been making the kills this whole time |
It's bull, I know it's bull, but I can't prove it's bull, but the fact that I can't prove it doesn't prevent it from being bull.
| Quote: |
| The idea of a vigilante (even if it wasn't Tyrell) might explain why there were two kills in one night, but only once. |
A vigilante is a fairly common role, and one which I firmly believe would have been revealed, either by the player in question prior to a lynch, or by the mod upon the player's death.
| Quote: |
| It makes perfect sense to sacrifice a couple allies to seal the deal. You come out with your allies and kill a couple, what could be more convincing? |
Well, just as convincing would have been to kill two different replicants, leaving both our doc and our most experienced and vocal player alive.
Sheesh!
If you want more pure speculation (because that's what your post is HD), I could tell you how I was building a theory earlier on in the game that mith and mole were playing us for suckers right from the start in a brilliant bit of mafia play. Putting themselves in the 'benevolent good-guy' position, acting prepared to consider the fact that the replicants were not the mafia (of course they were both corp, and knew we weren't the mafia), but cunningly maintaining the status of innocent, knowing that the town would never lynch such innocents, and the replicants would not attack them because the replicants too were on the town's side. The theory of a sacrifice of one of your own could also be used on mole's reveal of Tyrell, further building their status of good guys. However, we were told that 4 corp existed, and we have got three codes so far, and await the result of sooths death. That means that (if sooth isn't corp) only one corp remains.
In order for the town to win for sure, I think we need to make sure mith is the sole survivor. I thus propose:
I get lynched today.
Zephyr kills mole tonight.
Zephyr gets lynched tomorrow.
mith kills HD the following night.
Does anyone see a problem with that plan. e.g. mith, will you be able to kill HD? or would you rather we killed him instead of mole tonight.
BTW HD. In case you hadn't noticed (blinded by your rabid CL(TM) attack on us), if we are mafia, we cannot win. So what's your problem. Also if you check the last few day's posts, you'll realise that we've been working on ways of the TOWN winning. At the moment, the only one I'm 100% convinced is town is mith, because samadhi's e-mail told us he wasn't corp.
So there :0P

Then who was making those kills? It wasn't me - I have no ability to kill at all. I'll try to confirm this:
::ESPER You said before that the replicant designated Rachael has "no paraphysical abilities". Would it be possible for such a replicant to kill someone in the same manner as the (alleged)Nexus 6 kills?
It wasn't either of the bladerunners - we have confirmed their roles and seen a description of one of their kills. And we weren't told anything about the other characters having vigilante abilities, not even when Zealot and I investigated them... |

mith, is mole right? If so we'll have to kill HD tonight.
That could leave you up against mole in the final night, and if mole is the murdering replicant the game will be a draw with both of you killing each other (I think).

Hm. Well, it seems to me that the best course of action would be to lynch Porro, let the reps kill HD, and then no lynch a round to see if HD gives Zephyr a code. I'm not overly concerned with the reps turning on us in that case, as mole can hide from kills, and you'll have a tough time killing me. Is everyone agreeable to this? Excluding HD, of course. |

Re: retiring humans
I don't *think* I am able to. The thing I was told was that I could check people, and if I found out they were a replicant, it would help me if I decided to kill them, as I would be sure they weren't human. So, it would appear I have some problem killing humans, at least. |

Yes, but "we" referred to us the non-reps. And Dr. Tyrell is a corp character, so I have proof that if there was a corp, he was part of it. I created the vigilante ability for Tyrell to supplement my theory of him being the only role that could be called "corp".
Yes, my post was pure speculation, the reason it was is because I want to avoid a Trill situation in which you could still backstab us, which though it seems unlikely, is still possible. |

| Wait a second, I just realized something. Why am I dying tonight? I'm glad you are confident that you are immune to kills mith, but I think you should be a little more cautious this close to endgame. It makes much more sense to kill me and Zephyr (like last night's events), leaving you and mole together as town, obviously winning (in my opinion, you seem to trust each other as much as your characters did in the movie), or killing no one at all because we haven't found out if sweetwater gives a "code" yet. |

Will someone translate all that for me?
We can't risk killing no one. I never said I was immune, just that it's risky. Just like I take a risk when I kill one of them. I'm not sure what would happen if they failed to kill me, but it's possible I would never know, and they'd just pretend it never happened. So, if we don't lynch, and they get lucky and kill me (and I don't get lucky, and fail to kill one of them), they'll win if they're bad. And if they don't succeed, we still won't know whether they are bad or not.
If we lynch one of them, they could still risk killing me, but it would prove they are lying, since they claim to know I am 100% not corp.
So, yeah. Vote: Porro, I think. |

Translation: There appear to me to be two better options than killing me: killing no one or killing myself and Zephyr. If killing no one is too risky, why don't we have two kills tonight like last night? I'm willing to sacrifice myself if it assures a town victory (though it seems I don't have a choice).
There would be two remaining players: you and mole. I thought you two seemed so trusting of each other that it would be a town win if you both lived. Killing both me and Zephyr seems to be the surest way to make this game a town victory because there are so many things we don't know and most of the past events of the game are still unexplained.
