Hmmm... I don't like that "Hanged Man" card. Please don't lynch me; I'm a good guy.

I've heard that "The World" is the best card in the deck, so Orbiting is a definite good guy. OTOH, "The Magician" is a shifty and untrustworthy person. Almost certainly mafia. "Temperance" is a healing force, so DP is a doctor. I think "Empress" is also good, so I trust Corsato too.

So, Zealot, how do you defend yourself?

(Actually, I think that Tarot cards and other divination methods are pure hokum; I'm just using this as a way to get conversation started the first round.)

Any particular reason you conveniently change the definition of the card here? A weak attempt to throw suspicion on me without making it look like you're trying to start a bandwagon? Do you have some reason to want me dead?

The only purpose your card readings serve is to give you the appearance of helping, while providing a convenient excuse for you to accuse people.

FOS: quercitron, or Rhyming Townie, or whatever he's calling himself for so much vote switching. He votes and unvotes people without them even saying a word in between. This doesn't help the town at all.

If you look later on in Newbie 4, I think mith or Luna corrects my original interpretation of Magician (which was based of no knowledge on my part) with the "Magician is evil" one I gave here. And I never voted based on my Tarot cards; I just used them to get people talking.

And I will now add that Zealot is being defensive. (And ralphmerridew is being silly.)

I've always read the Magician as pretended mastery, or shallow achievement. A man who seems to know much, but whose knowledge is all surfaces - no depth. Perhaps a con artist, though not necessarily with evil intent - to him, his knowledge may seem both unique and complete. In this situation, maybe a cop. But probably not.

I vote SaberKitty on the advice of the all-seeing, all-knowing, completely random d20 roll (more powerful and acurate than any other divination system ).
