From what I have seen and read, Mafia is a game of logic and deduction. We are severely lacking data so far.

poor man's tarot:

Mentat got the Page of Swords, which implies insight, even to the degree of spying. this might be a little suspicious, but his second card was the Ace of Pentacles, which has something to do with the start of some good/prosperous venture or chain of events. he's got to be a cop.

Dragon Phoenix, though, got Temperance and Moon. Temperance normally means a fairly large change that'll will occur without disturbing balance. if this game had any non-basic roles in it, DP would definitely have one of them. Moon deals with illusion, plus at a very basic level, implies danger at night. who's dangerous at night? a Godfather, of course.

Zealot was already mentioned for being the Magician. more than anything else, Magician means Power. it could be good or bad, except when paired with the Queen of Wands, which has a bunch of good qualities on top, but naked ambition underneath. Power + Ambition = our second Godfather.

I think the most interesting combination is SaberKitty, though. her Queen of Pentacles is sort of an "almost-Empress" connoting love, motherhood, generocity, dispensing life, while her King of Swords is a sort of "almost-Emperor" a symbol of cold logic, control, and justice. I wouldn't be the least surprised if she has multiple personalities.

funny on-the-side-thing: A Fire Inside got two Wands cards, which is the suit of fire. and one of them was the King of Wands, symbol for pure fire energy.

if your suspicions about me are due to my silence up to now (i don't know what else it could possibly be), all i can say is that's just how i naturally am... i don't speak up until i have real answers or at least can feel like i'm contributing something substantial. i guess that's something i have to work on changing if i'm going to be playing Mafia (i've never played before, even in real life). the only thing i've seen so far that i found at all suspicious was mathgrant and quercitron's little back-and-forth. seemed kind of contrived, and i thought they might be in a mafia together.

i'm kind of baffled that i would end up being Listed and subsequently targeted by (i think) the only fully experienced player in the game... but i guess somebody's got to be, right? and there's only so many people to choose from. it's just sort of a "why me?" thing. i don't know how to defend myself other than to say, yes, of course, i am innocent. i promise.
