I was waiting for someone to ask. Last night I purposely investigated someone I thought I would find a 'town' on, Homer. And I got 'town'. My theory - I can find school students and their parents... so I could try and steer bandwagons stacked against the Simpsons themselves, and Ralph and his dad, whatshisname Wiggam. Players worth protecting. Possibly others, I don't really know the Simpsons. That's at least 7 out of 30 that I could have tried to help, and who I wouldn't have voted for, had I found any of them in time. So my POWERS weren't lousy, my choices were. My last chance at redeeming myself and not being more than killer fodder is trying to find and protect Chief Wiggam, unless there's someone else I can find to protect. 11 players to choose from - at least three of which are DEFINITELY not town.

p.s. - I just got back from vacation, and this has been bugging me since THURSDAY -- Just what the HELL does "I bent my wookie" mean? I googled it last Thursday, found sound clips of it and a website devoted to Ralph, but noone explained what it MEANT! Please, someone tell me before I go insane...

You can type in the Address up to page 15... just go to page 12 and change it. I'm not sure how diplomat got enough to lynch, or if he replied to the bandwagon, I was out of town when the thread went down. But he's got the seven votes now, we're just waiting for the Mayor to wind up the catapult, and praying he isn't a cop.

Thanks.. I see them now. I don't think voting for ones-self necessarily means that they are mafia/alien/serial killer however, it just shows that they are not very interested in the fast pace of this game. Anyhow.

Here's some interesting info. It's the number of posts by page. Numbers wrap around, so Logain posted on page 4,9,10,14,14,15. Note that page 12 is missing because of the thread crash. Curiously, Logain has even less than Jadesmar, who came in very late and was drunk the first day... and most of Logain's were either simple votes or fluff. Anything to say, Logain?

I was away on Sunday. I should have left a warning, but it wouldn't have changed the outcome. Sorry .

The town leads Diplomat to the Official Catapult. After being hogtied and placed in the loading cup, I give the executioner the signal. He heaves an ax an brings it down on the life line of Diplomat.

..but nothing happens.

The executioner shrugs and tries to figure out what is wrong with the machine. Hours later, most of the mob has wandered away and Diplomat is left struggling in the catapult. He eventually breaks free and runs home before night falls.

It is Night, please send choices. If you do not send a choice, one will be made for you. Deadline for choices is Wednesday, 11:59pm.

Good morning my fellow citizens.

Dr. Hibbert, the renowned doctor of Springfield was working tonight. He took care of a patient on a house call and headed home. He was, of course, intercepted by an alien. On board their UFO Serak the Preparer showed him (like any evil villain) his elaborate plan to serve the entire human race to his species on his home planet of Rigel-4. Dr. Hibbert made the classic mistake of laughing at the wrong time. Jeep was found dead on the street this morning, sans brain. Serak the Preparer apparently wanted an early breakfast.

The Simpson family dog (Santa’s Little Helper) was wandering aimlessly around Springfield tonight. His owners were all deceased so he served no real purpose anymore. But the mafia apparently thought he was a threat, and decided to put him down.

After receving his euthanasia, he stumbled off into the darkness looking for a place to die quietly. When he appraoched a road, he heard the car coming but couldn’t move for he was paralyzed with pain and fear.

Mike_Amok was found with tire tracks of Snake’s Lil’ Bandit down his back and a mafia bullet in his side. He never really was a fast dog.

I could care less about the number of posts. Werebear's logic astounds me. I never knew mafia was so easy. So from now on all we have to do is use a slide scale.

I'm not sure if anyone else has any great ideas on who Diplomat is then?
Going through the list, we've lynched an alien before, and if he's mafia, then he would be a normal soldier which a no lynch would make them too powerful. If Mr.Burns were still alive I could see that as a small possibility. Snake would be the most likely if he is evil. The only problem I see with this is that an evil person having a no lynch would be very bad for the town since only a death by a rival bad group could kill him. That I don't buy, but there is a small chance since Snake is a lone bad guy and the likelihood of him outliving all the other bad guys isn't good for him to win otherwise.

So who on the good side could he be? Ned Flanders might have divine intervention, but Mayor Quimby's words that he breaks free just doesn't sound like the description of Ned. The Comic Book Guy might be too fat to catapult. *shrug*
