When dawn breaks everyone meets up and without saying a word they head to Ameb's house. As they approach they see a sight similar to the night before. Blood is dripping from the eaves and on the door is written, "Ed il vostro padre ha sentito l'odore di delle bacche di sambuco!!!"
"Sure is a lot of blood!" someone remarks.
"Just imagine if this stuff dripping from the eaves was more than stage blood," remarks someone #2.
"Yeah, it's not a bad job but after last night who couldn't tell the difference?" remarks someone #5, I mean #3.
Looking down they see a pool of red stuff coming from underneath the door. "Now, that's real blood!" says somebody. "Well, let's get this over with."

Opening the door they see a gruesome sight.
"Man, there are dustbunnies everywhere! Oh, yeah and look a dead guy too!"
Ameb hangs by his own stethescope from the ceiling fan, his intestines draped in a festive fashion on his shoe tree. His major organs laid out as presents for everyone. "I'll never feel the same way about Christmas again," says somebody #2.
"Yeah, I got liver. I HATE liver," says someone.

"Damn, so Ameb was the doctor and now he's dead. Who would have guessed?" asks a disgruntled townie.
"What? What do you mean? We ALL knew this was going to happen!" yells a disdainful townie.
"Well, why didn't we do something about it?" asks someone.
"Because we're chickens?" asks submissive townie.
"Yeah, that'd do it," says somebody.
"Yup," says someone #3.
"But only when it's dark. How about we lynch someone?" asks somebody.
"Me? What'd I do?" asks someone.
"No, no. I meant just lets lynch, well, one of us. Unless YOU had something to do with the brisque cart!!"
"NO! I swear, how about a vote?"
"Sounds good."

Ameb, Doctor has been brutally (but somewhat festively) murdered.

It is day. Vote to avenge your slain defender. With 7 remaining people, 4 votes are required.

Besides...I wonder, how did the mafia get the idea that Ameb was a doctor? What made them want to target him?

Degenerate: Both. Wondering why Sami was targeted is what made me suspicious in the first place. But when I looked into it, they did seem to support you. And although I (as Sami-1) also helped to lynch quercitron-1, HH and RE both jumped on the bandwagon that you started against him. quercitron-1 and Sami-1 both said something about you and were both killed. Plus, you voted both HH and RE only after they already had enough votes to be lynched.

Of course they can still be mafia but I generally think it's a good idea to lynch one of the remaining three. That is Degenerate, you jadesmar or Sami.

I still find Degenerate the most suspicious. Sorry if I'm not doubtful enough for you, rOver. When a revealed cop goes after a townie, that's like a "get out of jail free" card for the mafia - they can lynch an innocent without looking guilty themselves. Therefore I assume that crackerjack had at least one (and possibly both) of the remaining mafia voting him yesterday. Obviously Ameb was not mafia, and neither are you. That leaves Degenerate, Werebear and jadesmar. My money is on Degenerate. So confirm: Degenerate and FOS: Werebear and jadesmar.

Sami: You just always happen to be the second most suspicious At least this night and the night before. I understand that as townie you would like to be cleared by the cop. If you are mafia however: Talk is cheap. Sure everyone can say: "you should have investigated me" when the cop doesn't have a chance to correct his/her mistake.

That was one reason I lynched crackerjack. Also Ameb was doc and he did that too. (When I voted you at the start of the day) Which leaves us with jadesmar. And the question whether this theory is sound. I'd say it's not. I expect them to be more subtle. It's like evolution. Those who are not subtle (or lucky, in fairness,) enough die quikly. Same is true the votes on crackerjack.

That was not criticism on my part just an observation. I thought that's not what you would have done as a townie. It's not a comment on what's objectively good or bad for the town.
Actually there was something I wanted to add yesterday. It's for crackerjack I hope he still reads the thread: It's just that stupid townies don't get lynched. Poor townies do. The stupid ones are those who do the lynching.

Anyway, I'm not really comfortable with my decision. I think I'll read thorough the last couple of days and see if I find anyhing that convices at least me, if nobody else.

Degen, I'd like to see some reasoning from you. At this point in the game, petty revenge votes are exactly what the mafia wants.

Let's ignore the GF for the moment, since there's no way to deduce who they are. For the moment, the people declared innocent are going to have to be presumed innocent. so of the six left, three of them have a 2/3 chance of being evil, and three of them have a 1/3 chance of being evil. If you're a townie, then only two have a 1/3 chance. Odds are in favor of killing those uninvestigated, which all of you already knew, but I had to go and get the long way.

two possibilities:
1) We lynch a townie today. They kill our cop tonight. left, 5 people, 2 mafia. If we lynch a townie tomorrow, we dead. Lynch a mafia tomorrow, they kill a townie, 3 people, 1 mafia. possible, not pleasant, but if we get one mafia in two days, we can still win.
2) We lynch a mafia today. They kill our cop tonight. left, 5 people, 1 mafia. This would be a good thing. we have a 1/3 chance of doing this.

So now comes my choice... if I vote for a townie, I look even worse than I already do, but I can't stand on the sidelines and let these things pass by me. So...
