The temptation to say "I BROUGHT YOU BACK INTO THIS WORLD, I CAN TAKE YOU BACK OUT JUST AS EASILY" is overwhelming. Good thing I don't give in to temptation. 'Sides, that's Doc Frankenstein's line.

Are you attempting to threaten a member of Scotland Yard

BTW Quailman, you missed my point when I asked you to explain why you thought the 'Scotland Yard' answer given by PP was obvious.

Was Scotland Yard previously mentioned or suggested in the thread? If not why did you think that that answer was so obvious?

It was obvious since we have Sherloack Holmes, Dr. Watson, Dr. Seward, et al. You've explained your role without contradiction, so I am convinced that the four of you are who you say you are.

Now that I understand how your roles work, it appears that you guys are the doctors. You don't investigate people - you protect people, just like docs would. Glad to see we're well-manned in that department, but not since it looks like you guys still want me dead.

Has anyone looked at Zealot's profile? His last post was at the beginning of June, two months ago. I'm thinking he needs to be replaced, not lynched.

I also don't see any compelling reason to lynch Quailman, other than that he's on the list of people we don't yet have roles for, and that's no better of an argument than for anyone else on the same list.

However, since I'd rather lynch Quailman than Zealot and see Zealot replaced so we can get him to claim a role,
vote: Quailman

Very unofficial vote tally:
Quailman: 4 (Corsato, Porro, PP, Crazycellist)
Zealot: 4 (Cadmium, Werebear, Quailman, Querciphoenix)

Not voted:
Dread Pirate Westley
Ferris
L'layne
Mike_Amok
Neo
Popaboolie
SaberKitty
Tyenar
Zealot

Do you know what this means?? This means that even if all the people who have voted would vote for the same player, that player still wouldn't get lynched. Only 8 out of 17 players have voted. If you don't want to play, don't sign up. You are only destroying the fun some players have. So please participate, or ask to be replaced.

Okay, that's nine out of 17 players . Now, if we all agree on who to lynch, we are actually capable of doing so.

If Zealot hasn't posted in two months, I agree on finding a replacement for him. I think he should be able to defend himself before we lynch him, but most likely, that isn't going to happen. What do you think? Shall we just lynch or not?

Untill I hear some more opinions, I'll leave my vote on Zealot. I'm not voting for Quailman. I truely believe he's innocent.

Questions to the mod: Are you willing/trying to replace Zealot?? Have you heard something from him ??

I agree with Cadmium, I would really like to give Zealot a chance to defend himself, but if he doesn't show up soon I'll switch my vote to him just to get this day over.

This is certainly a tight spot we've gotten into...

I've re-read a good chunk of the thread, and one thing that stands out is that the Mafia have been playing very well these last couple of rounds, with no slip-ups.

I don't want to vote for someone who should really be replaced (Zealot) - the last time I did that in a game, I started a bandwagon on Police Officer sweetwater (sigh). Equally, since we know Quailman isn't a Serial Killer, that makes him marginally less guilty. We also know that there are some 'just town' roles (like quercitron - see Pg 8, reply 305), so it's not implausible that he's town.

Of the eight people who've not yet claimed a role, three have voted Zealot, one's voted Quailman and four haven't voted. I'd be inclined to ask for replacements for three of those, but DPW is usually a bit more vocal than this.

It's a long shot, but I'll now:

Vote: Dread Pirate Westley

for the simple reason that he appears to be lurking and hasn't revealed his role or drawn attention to himself by voting.

If he's already been cleared, or claims a role, then I'll willingly unvote him.

Heh, let's start another bandwagon, that might actually get us somewhere.
O wait, my magical excel-sheet says that DPW is an Egyptologist. Better not vote for this masonic group member as of yet. A very big FOS to Mike_Amok and Ferris for voting an assumed innocent.

Unvote: Quailman
Vote: Zealot
This is just ot get this $#%@# day over with. Let's tally the votes again (9 to lynch):

6 Zealot (Cadmium, Werebear, Quailman, Querciphoenix, Popaboolie, Corsato)
3 Quailman (Porro, PP, Crazycellist)
2 DPW (Ferris, Mike_Amok)

Not voted:
Dread Pirate Westley
L'layne
Neo
SaberKitty
Tyenar
Zealot

Wow, the number of people voting has suddenly increased to 11. We might actually get a majority today. w00t.

Of course I haven't claimed a role. I only revealed my role in Maf 47 because (a) I was a cop and had a phyrexian and (b) I decided that not revealing my role made me more of a target than revealing it, since only a small minority opposed my coming out. Since I'm not a cop, and therefore will never have a mafia or vampire, etc. to reveal, I won't be revealing my role.

Given the choices:
1) Me...Um, no
2) Zealot: I prefer to have him replaced, and won't lynch him for not participating
3) Quail: Process of elimination. Vote: Quailman

He claims to be just town, which is possible.

L'layne has cleared him of being a serial killer. This fact is why I now think we shouldn't lynch him yet. He could still be a mafia type, but I think that's better addressed by appropriate investigation.

DPW has confirmed that he's neither a cop, nor a vampire hunter. No-one's spoken up for him from any masonic group, so he's either plain town, a doctor type, or bad.
