I would like to agree with Chuck, so I will.

Furthermore, I think these roles are likely to be around in addition to our claimed ones:
Harry Potter - for obvious reasons
Madam Pomfrey, the school nurse - We have only lost 2 healers, and 6 investigators of varying capabilities and sanities. I think we have at least one more healer, and this seems the most likely one.

I believe we also have only one evil role left, given the starting size of 28 and 1 godfather, 1 spy, 1 assassin, and 3 regular mafia dead (Please feel free to check my counting, I am finding the list hard to follow at the moment.) More than 25% evil seems unlikely, but possible, of course.

I feel that everyone is free of suspicion other than Eykir, mith, and Wearbear. Of these three, I think Wearbear is most suspicious. I would like to hear some explainations out of these three before nightfall.

The death eaters ARE the mafia. So far, they've been: Snape, Lucius, Draco, and of course the GF, Voldemort.

I'm debating whether or not to come out with my role. I don't think it will speed up the process.

I have no idea why he would say that, unless it was to get Lilifried, jeep and Roadbird to all think mith was okay and set up the mith to pull it out. Trust me. He is a death eater. I'm Filch. I go around and make sure players are in the dorms. If I targeted Voldemort, I would get that he was in his dorm. Before the game started, I decided I was going to start in the middle of the list, and work my way down.
Here's my results:

NIGHT 1 - Orbiting was in her dorm. (actually I got Orbiting was in HIS dorm. *Grin*)
NIGHT 2 - Pikachamp was not in his dorm.
NIGHT 3 - Porro was in his dorm.
NIGHT 4 - PuzzleProdigy (ralphmerridew) was not in his dorm.
NIGHT 5 - Quailman was not in his dorm.
NIGHT 6 - Roadbird was in his dorm.
NIGHT 7 - (back to the top of the list) Chuck was in his dorm.

So you don't know if they're up to no good, or cop or doc when they're out and about? You know that I was out one night, but you don't know that I was sneaking around in my invisibility cloak checking up on people. Actually, I think the night you checked me, I checked you.

Eykir, it is your apparent vindication of mith/mole that made me suspect you. I checked him last night, and he is without a doubt a death eater. Perhaps when you checked him you found him to be asleep, because he hadn't posted in a week or two. I was told that werebear was not a death eater. The next day I posted a list that had you and werebear cleared, and four possible baddies, of which Lilifried was later supported by jeep. We lynched Voldemort that day (by chance - I had not checked him. If I had I'd probably have another scar). I checked Ralphmerridew, and we lynched him the next day. I checked mith, and now we need to lynch him. I strongly recommend that we wait until tomorrow to sort out his disagreement between you and Werebear, because while werebear may have done something highly suspicious, mith is a deatheater.

I could investigate someone and determine if they were at home that night or not. It was explained to me that the death eaters sent one of their number out to kill. The night i investigated mith, he was not the one sent out, so I was told he was at home. (Although you think I'd be suspicious after discovering he was a book, but oh well.)

So, my non-suspicious list (I never called them innocent) was those I found at home.

The way I'm reading the emails, Voldemort just got an extra kill (so we had two). The Town was *still* too powerful, I think.

I was Hagrid and had vigilante powers. I could shoot one person per night with my crossbow.

I claimed to be out of crossbow bolts to become a lesser target for the Mafia but I would have started shooting again if the end game had been close. Also, since suspects could clear themselves by revealing their roles, it seemed counterproductive to shoot people in the night without good reason. Shooting a good guy would also make the town nervous and I had previously revealed my role to avoid getting lynched.

BTW, I'm still mad about our player who wouldn't reveal... because I learned Trelawny could not only see that someone was out of their dorm, but could also see who they were visiting...

I think the game was short because of

a. 3 started with three kills a night
b. Days were set at 7 days(lynch the highest) and nights at 3 days.

Did you feel the amount of time given for days and nights was enough? Did you feel a faster pace game like this kept your interest better then those with long days and nights?

I feel that seven days is more than enough time for a day to progress, and three is the upper limit I would give for a night. Knowing when to check did keep me more in the game, because it was assured when the next action would take place.

Well, it was certainly fun to play a bad guy this time around. Pity that I wasn't given any chance to defend myself from a lynch; that's one of the best parts of the game!

Congrats to all the muggle-headed survivors. Just remember - Voldemort has cheated death before now, so a replay could be on the cards...

My biggest mistake was in not trusting my instincts that Internet Stranger was Wormtail. If I'd targeted him, we'd have been able to flush out the investigative roles that much faster (by the way, there seemed to be a lot of those!). On the other hand, by not killing IS, it left him looking suspicious and a good lynching target to bandwagon if I was fingered myself.

The thing that sucked the most about being Filch was I was of house Slytherin. So if I won lots of games, I'd grant all the mafia immunity for a day and night. *laugh* Also, I figured someone would have the ability to fond out houses, and would target me as evil.

One thing I do wish, I do wish we'd kept this to the first book (as much as possible, if you have to add death eaters, or a serial killer, you have to) so we could kill Malfoy all over again. *laugh* (that means, of course, that next game I'd be Malfoy)

How could I not say that I enjoyed this game, since (a) I was still alive at the end and (b) I got to be Harry Potter. In the description of my role, it sounded like I was pretty much immortal, and could go around looking for bad guys each night. When I confirmed and asked how I could die other than by lynching, Sooth told me the spell I could use was only 50% effective.

It did seem like the number of investigators may have favored the good guys. It even looks like poor Dobby may have taken a hit that had been intended for me. I was wondering during the game if we got Voldemort, would he reincarnate into another deatheater?
