Arminger, I'm not debating that the information Sketchwalker can give us will be valuable. I've never disagreed with that. I have disagreed with Leonidas's perceptions of what these disclosures may do for us (you seem to have a grip though) and I have questioned how long we should wait. I will admit that I did not consider that tonight would be Darth Vader's kill night and so nabbing him would be a coup. What I was focusing on was that the information could just as well be disclosed tomorrow (the DS has displayed their cowardice when it comes to attacking Luke) and that we had an obvious darkside in our sights. Now that I have considered the added benefit of eliminating Darth Vader I agree that Sketchwalker's information should be disclosed. But here's the thing, this day has already lasted NINE DAYS!!!!

Much as I just love all this bickering and arguing, how long?

We either need to replace Sketchwick (lamentable but preferable) or we need to go ahead and vote and hope that our minds haven't been hopelessly clouded by the efforts of the darkside.

Actually, we are waiting for Luke Skywalker before we start voting. Hopefully, it is sketchwick.. it is a little late for a new Skywalker to come out.

I assume he found nothing though..

I also don't think werebear should be allowed to play sketchwick's role after playing either Leia or darkside. One would lead to gender confusion.. wouldn't want a bear to go through that, the other would lead to giving away everyone on the dark side.. unless sketch and bear are both DS.

The Master: If you would post the results of sketch's investigations, we don't need to wait for him. This is probably really against the rules though.

Posting Sketch's investigations would be WAY wrong in the grand scheme of things. This could just be Sketch's (poor) strategy. Maybe he wants to see what the town does. It doesn't matter, because I'm really Luke. Unfortunately, the only people I investigated are dead.

Since I'm really Luke, that obviously means that Sketch is not and we should vote for him. Notice I'm keeping my vote on him.

We have a clear shot at the Dark Side,
and at someone who is extremely likely
to be one of their leaders.

I may be wrong, I may be right.
But we knew we had only about 25% chance
of guess-lynching Palpatine or Vader anyway,
and Damelon is at least as good a choice as the
others.

If he happens not to be an important Dark-Sider,
then jeep should be our next target I think,
since they started the Saberkitty sacrifice together,
so someone important had to benefit from it.

THE CAREER OF DAMELON-PALPATINE: Episode I.
THE SABERKITTY LYNCH.
A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, Damelon and his friend Jeep
(the one who admits being a Dark-Sider and wants to lynch Luke) decided
to sacrifice one of their Dark-Side fellows in order to gain CREDIBILITY.

Of course, they chose a minor Dark-Sider. They chose Saberkitty.
Saberkitty was just a Royal Guard: she could not kill for the Dark Side,
she could not gather information for the Dark Side. And of course, with one
Royal Guard left, Palpatine would still remain 'cloaked', ie immune to investigation.

Now credibility, as we know, is extremely important for Dark-Siders.
Especially for Palpatine ! Especially for Palpatine...

So Damelon-Palpatine and Jeep started the Saberkitty bandwagon together.
They fed the town with a Dark-Sider, a minor one. Damelon-Palpatine
initiated the bandwagon, and gained credibility. He was perceived
as someone who had helped the town, and would go on helping the town.

THE CAREER OF DAMELON-PALPATINE: Episode II.
THE MOUSETRAP.
Now the problem with credibility, you see, is that it sticks
to you - just like glue.

So when the Light Side insisted on having everyone claim a role,
Palpatine (perceived as good), was FORCED to claim
a LS role. While many of his friends did not bother answering
the Light Side's call, Damelon-Palpatine HAD to play along, because
he had invested too much in his credibility already.

So Damelon-Palpatine claimed townie.

Palpatine had already tried to leverage his credibility to have us
lynch Soothsayer. He tried to get us to lynch Crazycellist.
Indeed, at this point in time, Palpatine has two wildcards, two jokers,
two Dark-Siders he can sacrifice: the second Royal Guard (because
both Kenobi and Yoda are dead), and his remaining spy.

And believe me, Damelon-Palpatine is more than willing to sacrifice
one or the other to survive this turn, the last turn for the Light Side.

Had ONE of his gambits succeeded, his victory would have been complete indeed.

Dark Side, your emperor Damelon-Palpatine has been tricked.
He is out of your reach now. There is no way you can protect him any longer...

Light Side: Dark Siders may try to vote Damelon-Palpatine just to have us
believe he is not Palpatine. Do not pay attention to what the Dark Side does.
We have Palpatine. And he is hiding behind the name: Damelon.

If you don't wanna be in the game, post that you wish a replacement. I'm voting you now, there were too many "vote me I'm mafias" in SWI that weren't acted on. If you turn out to be Light Side, then you're a moron. If you're the dark side, well, then you're probably still a moron, but at least you'll have helped the town.
