Hi guys,
I have an idea for a mafia setting: it would be about politics in Ancient Rome.
Almost all players would be senators, able to vote both for politics and to lynch.
Some players would be regular citizens. The twist is, players would have different kind of votes, and would get more options to pick from when taking part in the City's politics.
I have no previous experience in modding, and I do not want to bypass the existing procedure. How do you think I could get the game started ?
Any suggestion welcome !

This is not too bad an idea. I was thinking about a similar game with voting in a Sergeon General and a Sherrif/chief of police, both being lynch proof the night they are voted in and only having abilities that one night.
Sadly, I also have no mod experience and need to work out alot of game details before that is feasible.
Just having fun with game mechanics.. like my upcoming "Summer at the north pole". Where there will be lynchings, killings and investigations, and protections but no night. |

You should post on one of the waiting lists, either here or on mafiascum.net
I'd advise getting an experienced mod (mith, DP) to help you set the game up, and help you run things smoothly.

Thanks Jadesmar and Antrax,
I have posted in the Grey Labyrinth waiting list, and asked for the help
of an experienced mod.
I hope to hear from you when the sign-up is posted...
(No 'I'm not playing mafia any longer' thing; this one is going to be
beautiful, Shakespearean, both dramatic and tragic... ) |
