New Mafia Mod list [ now void]

I took it upon myself to create the new mafia mod list, along with Fezzik, now, call me evil or Nazi like, this new list will take a lot of people of the big games list, if you think your down gradation is unfair, appeal and convince someone important that you can handle it. Also, the downgraded people would feel horribly cheated if they were dumped to the bottom of small / medium queue, so I’m mixing them through, sort of ya know.

As you can see, the small games list is still insanely large, but hopefully, with less than 20 players, they should roll through pretty fast, I hope 2 from each running at once, with one Newbie mafia at a time was the mix I was thinking, and from what I read in discussion thread this would seem like the best choice, if you all hate this new list, and want the old one to take back control, just shout and I’ll delete it.

I think you should have one-two small, one medium or large game, and at times a newbie running. That would have two-four up at one time.

Trouble is with swapping people off the large list onto the small one is that it both pushes down the people underneath them on the Small list, and promotes those still on the Large list. Groza leaps six places, for instance, and Soothsayer four.

I know, I know. There's winners and losers, and I understand perfectly the difficulties in compiling the list and pleasing everyone (i.e. it's impossible), but maybe keep the Large List people on that list, but with the proviso that they have a co-mod? Just a thought.

Not that I'm unappreciative of the effort you've both made.

Now hold on here just a gosh darn minute! My Reverse Mafia(tm) has been optimally balanced for exactly 25, count'em, 25 players. I really don't want to try and re-edit and re-balance it now that I have it ready. I would like to either be moved to the Medium list, or allowed to squeek the extra five roles by on the Small list.

As much as I enjoy the shortness of the 'large' list, I think 40 players is far too many for me (or most) mods to keep in line etc. Unless I'm just misunderstanding and this is just the list of games that 'may' be rather than that 'will' be. 30 players sounds like it should be about right for mine, I'm not sure which list that fits on because I think you meant 'less than 40' for large games?

Can I make my game actually 25? I would like to do a Super Smash Bros. Melee, and well, there are 25 roles, so...

Would you let it slide by? I have tried to mod a game, but it didn't work out. So could I?

If you want my opinion, Sparticus should be taken off the newbie mod list (Chienfou and TCM should make good mods from what I have seen). UVGF is 12 or so, if I remember correctly? My advice to him is to seek an experienced comod, whether you want a 20 or 25 player game. The same goes for Pika. We have seen too often under 16's getting internet access taken away by their parents.
