| OK, since I got a vote for not posting enough, this is just to let you all know that i am still here. I had a long weekend (veterans day), but now I am back at work and able to catch up. I will withhold my vote for now, I want to reread the thread and see if anything suspicious appears. |

I'm having trouble connecting to U.S websites at work, I'm sorry if the disappearing act caused you any dismay, fears or even suspicions, but I too have some theories*Takes Peter Falk pose*My first FOS goes to 1) BEARTALON - highly suspicious goings on, I thought, with the suicide vote; bluff, double bluff, I don't know, but either way I can't understand the logic. I am thinking, for the time being at least, that you were just spitting your dummy out of the pram. 2) TANSTAAFL, GARM, FIRE INSIDE and FAERIEFIRE- as my Mother says - "It's always the quiet ones". 3) DARK/SOOTHSAYER, I'm wondering why DP had to have a replacement for you/the other, rather than drop you out of the game?, but with that way of thinking, you could also be a Cop or Doctor. You were also a bit quick onto Beartalon's case of, shall we say " verbose 'weakness' ". You now seem to be countering anyone who votes aganist you. Despite this, fuelled with my fuzzy logic and gut feeling, I really don't think that you are Mafia, so I'm sorry (vote) : FIRE INSIDE, but your only interjection of " Vote : Xerox " is enough for me to swing you by the nearest lampost.
DP: unbolded the vote for the dead player

To be sure, A Fire Inside is dead. We lynched him yesterday. His vote doesn't count, and Duphrates' vote for him also doesn't count. (I'd hate to see a bandwagen wasted on a dead guy.) (DP, please correct me if I have misinterpreted anything here)
GARM has posted 6 times, Duphrates 12 (since the game started). Since the 2nd day has started: GARM has 4 posts, and Duphrates has 3. By itself that's hardly suspicious on anyone's part.
But, I would still like to Unvote: TANSTAAFL and Vote: GARM. That last post is suspiciously defensive, especially when Duphrates listed GARM as one of six people to be suspicious of. (He was already on my FOS list anyway.)
And to update my FOS list:
FOS: BearTalon (from previous),
FOS: TANSTAAFL (still suspicious) |

ML, all I can say about my behavious is trying to learn how to play the game. The voting for myself was stupid and now makes me look wishy-washy, but at that time, there wasn't a lot being said on day 2. It provoked discussion.
Anyone else notice the three currently voting for Sooth also voted for A Fire Inside? |

Duphrates - all roles should be replaced if the player drops out or takes an extended leave. Any mod who only replaces cop and doc roles is seriously lacking in mod skills. I think the reason would be obvious... but also, any side losing players makes the target range smaller for the other side.

Is anyone else suspicious about those players who haven't got a current vote, namely:
Xer0x
Tanstaafl
Duphrates
There is also a lot of wild accusations flying around with people votying for others because they are "cast aspersion on others". LOL - that's the idea!
Regardless these are the people who i think are innocent:
Garm
beartalon
and of course me!
People who are suspicious:
Xer0x
Tanstaafl
Duphrates
Until I have sufficient reason to change my vote will stay with Xer0x.

Soothsayer - My suspicions lie with nearly everyone at the moment, but GARM's quick snappy response to my FOS has only heightened it. It's very easy to call someone a liar, but s/he didn't explain why.
BTW - My FOS hasn't really changed since yesterday, but you seem to trying to deflect a lot of flak at the moment.

So I'm suspicious for not casting a vote?? I checked in to let everyone know I am still here (just away on weekends) and was going to look over the thread before making any decisions.
Since Sooth already had 3 of the 6 votes needed for a lynch, I did not want to vote for him without giving him a chance to defend himself. I do not want to lynch another townie.
However, if you want a vote, I'll vote: xer0x because the two people voting for him so far did not vote for A fire inside yesterday.
So now my next question:
xer0x: Do you have a defense to give since you are now halfway to being lynched? |

No, let's not. What about hearing a reason not to vote for you, Mister Butter-wouldn't-melt. So far, all you've done is bang on about who you think is highly suspicious, but with no reason (except Beartalon - because he posted too many times!!). Your also highly protective of GARM, why is that? Is there something you two should be telling us? The reason why you've voted for me is
| Quote: |
| Considering I think Garm is innocent and you are on my list of suspects i will change my vote to you |
.
So, as you are deflecting the flak you were receiving earlier onto other innocent bystanders, and not explaining why, and, to misquote your quote - I am suspicious of GARM and you are on my list of suspects I will change my vote to you.So there!
vote SOOTHSAYER
PS - I thought this was a newbie game? Soothsayer has been playing for a few years, and by his own admission

DP, I know you had to get someone at short notice because of Darks absence but couldn't you have picked someone with a little less experience. It's like throwing Tyson in the room with a bunch of Charles Hawtrees. ***DISCLAIMER - I assure you this has nothing to do with my voting him***

Well, I had hoped that Dark would show up after a few days, but he has not done so. That is a recurrent problem in newbie games, and one of the reasons why we have them in the first place. On the other hand, we have had experienced players join newbie games before.
I picked Sooth, because he was the first to offer his services as a replacement in the sign-up thread. |

I am playing this game on the understanding that should Dark show up I will leave immediately.
One of the problems with some mafia games is inactivity or absence by some players - I offered to be a replacement to keep the game going. Should another newbie wish to take my place I will happily leave. |

Why Soothsayer was here was given to us in the beginning. I've followed Sooth's progress through a different game he's played in, and his tactic at the very beginning is the same as he's used here. This tells me nothing except that this is his playing style. You have to admit that it started discussion, whether or not he's bluffing or telling the truth. Experience counts, but so does logic. I think we newbies will begin to see some sense after today's lynch.
Everyone is claiming suspicions. Welcome to Mafia! So far this day I've had 2 votes, Garm's had 2, Xerox would have had 3 if Soothsayer hadn't changed, and now both Duphrates and Soothsayer both have 3 because Duphrates changed.
The way it looks right now, since Duphrates and Soothsayer are both voting for each other, they are either two confused townies and we're on our way to another townie lynch (thank you very much) OR one of them is Mafia, but not both since voting for each other would waste votes.
Dragon Phoenix, post #150 is incorrect. Garm had two votes, Degenerate should be Duphrates, but now he's changed his vote to Soothsayer. |

sigh - it looks as though this game will follow the time honoured tradition of killing the cop early on in the game.
In case you haven't picked up on my hints....
I'm a cop - don't lynch me.
Seeing as I have just put a sign over my head saying "kill me mafia please" - I plead to the doc to protect me tonight.
It is always a dilemma in mafia games to know when the cop shoudl come out. Seeing as I am close to a lynching the time is appropriate now.
On night 1 i discovered that Termital was innocent, on night 2 I found out that Garm was innocent. Hence why I was trying to get you to stop voting for him. With 3 mafia still alive it is essential that we do not kill unnecessarily.
My votes for xerox and Duphrates was based up on their posts and not from any investigations.
There you go - I'm a cop - I am pleading with you not to lynch me and for the doc to protect me tonight.
