He can't have any proof. Listen to Neo. He seems to have gotten some information last night. I thought DPW might come after me last night, so I used my one chance to avoid getting killed. Neo said to wait for someone to slip up, and we've been called upon to out ourselves. I'm an Aiel. No magic, which is just as well. I've been hanging in this whole game by following others, and some of the posts have been very helpful in explaining all this nonsense (no offense to magic-users intended). I admit relying on cubestudent, who turned out to be evil, but his posts were helpful too. DPW first gave me a seemingly random FOS, then built upon it the next day with a vote, and when his bandwagon failed, voted me again today. Since NEO did not come out and vote DPW, but just admonished him to rethink his actions, I will refrain from an OMGUS vote, though it is clearly indicated. Help us Neoie, you're our only hope.

Quailman, you are Sword. I had guessed Rand or evil for you based on a post from Elayne when she was modding.

Now comes the problem. How many Aiels did mith have? Me, TCM, Macros and Quail? Okay four seems okay.

Quailman, there is no use in covering it up now. TCM and I (maybe macros?) weren't entirely honest when it came to describing the Aiel's powers. Would you care to tell us the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? There is nothing to be lost now.

Macros, please do not answer this question yet.

You mean I wasn't hidden from DPW last night? I've taken him for evil over the last several days. I am on aol, and it only keeps e-mails for 30 days. When I got into this game, I figured I was lucky to have a go-with-the-flow sort of role. I can't read people's souls, or detect their karma. I didn't remember any special powers, but when another townie (that's what Aiels are, isn't it) said we were able to hide, I thought that must work for me too. I sent an e-mail last night which mith did not acknowledge. I am in 3 games right now - two more than my self-imposed limit. I have always depended on the kindness of strangers, as I know of no one else's role in this game. As I said, I've been lucky to get this deep into the game. You really should look elsewhere for a bad guy, though.

And I don't get the sword thing. I don't have one that I know of. Are you sure you get accurate responses and are not an insane cop type? As I said, I suspect DPW based on his attacks on me the last three days and you seem to have cleared him.

Doesn't matter. Another lovely fact about the books that you'd be very unlikely to come upon in a random search: The Aiel DO NOT USE SWORDS. I haven't read them in quite a while, but if I recall (Spoiler)The Aiel are decended from a peaceful tribe, a few of which are still around, calling themselves Tinkerers. Once, long ago, one Tinkerer decided to abandon the peaceful Way of the Leaf to save his family from a band of raiders. His family cast him out (arising in the tradition of wearing veils in combat, long, unrelated story), but others joined him. Now, to the point of all this: Aiel do not use swords because their only purpose is to kill a man. And, from The World of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time "Yet even today no Aiel will willingly touch a sword even on point of death..."

Quail: I could check another Aiel tonight, but will I live to post the answer? There don't seem to be any doctor type roles left. I also think you are lying. I will ask you again, How many times can you hide? Or, How often? Or, under what circumstances? How is it that the Aiel hides? These are the details of the Aiel role, and once you answer, we will simply ask Macros to confirm or deny.

Anyway, I have to believe Neo when he says he viewed Quail with a sword, since DPW confirmed the other part of Neo's viewing. Aiel are battle oriented, but only in hand-to-hand fighting or spears. Possibly bow and arrow, but NEVER a sword. A large bit of the series revolves on why they do not use swords.
