I hate being the decision maker when it comes down to three...I almost always guess wrong. Oh, well. Elayne wished me luck and said I'd need it, and knowing my luck, Tyenar was telling the truth and the other one of you will kill me anyway. Yes, Mat, that's the same dagger. However, Padan Fain has no time to use it, as, per the rules stated by the Creator, Fain is killed whether he likes it or not.

Thanks to my family, which consisted at first of Elayne (replaced by VinnyQ), Ishamael herself ; AnnoyingPest, (replaced by Specter, replaced by me), the second-in-command ; and Trollocs Zephyr, hey_herb, Ferris, ralphmerridew (one of which was replaced by Quailman, i can't remember which...). Oops, mith, did you intend to keep that info secret? [the roles and the componence of the families?]

Funny thing is i started a bandwagon away from Zephyr without knowing he was in my family AND therefore BAD!
And i truely wonder how did Purgation know about a black ajah existing in the game? What was his role?

Lili ordered an attack on CrystyB (DP carrying it out) and he did not die. I bet you didn't intend this result when you played around with the rules(as I knew them) mid-game mith

Nah, I followed all my rules. I just forgot to account for a few things in my spreadsheet list.

I had several problems with the balance of this game at the beginning (I didn't want the channelers to be too dominant, mostly), and ended up compromising on a lot of things; I don't generally like basing things on probabilities, but I couldn't really get around it.

Anyway, quite entertaining, and the bad guys had several great attempts at faking a role. Hope you all enjoyed (other than the slowness ).

Roles:

Ishmael's clan - VinnyQ (Ishmael, replacing Elayne), CrystyB (Myrddraal, replacing Specter, replacing AnnoyingPest), Zephyr, hey_herb, Quailman, ralphmerridew

Lanfear's clan - Lilifreid (Lanfear), Dragon Phoenix (Myrddraal), mole, cubestudent, radwulf, mudster

These were the Mafia groups. The Trollocs were successful against everyone but the Channelers, Perrin, and Myrddraal. The Myrddraal had a 50% chance at killing a Channeler, Perrin, and a 75% chance against the opposing Myrddraal. The Forsaken were successful against everyone except Mat, and killed using Balefire.

Padan Fain - Porro

Serial Killer. Was successful against everyone but Channelers, and had a 50% against them.

Seanchan - sweetwater, JDTAY

This was the Cult. They were on the side of the Town, but had to have everyone good join them to win. They could either kill or recruit (they always chose to kill). Similar success to the Trollocs.

Children of the Light - Logain, Soothsayer, Antrax (Insane), Tyenar (Paranoid)

Basic Cops.

Ogier - Neo (replacing JediSoop), Diplomat, El Blobbo revived, quercitron

Basic Masons.

Aiel - Neo, The Cheshire Man, Macros

Could hide at night from any kill, but only on non-consecutive nights.

Aes Sedai(ish) - Zealot (Aviendha), Purgation (Elayne), Samadhi (Egwene), PuzzleProdigy (Black Ajah)

Each could use the Power to investigate a player. Whenever anyone used the Power, all other that used that half of the Power found out.

Nynaeve - ChienFou

Basic Doctor, could heal anything but Balefire, by channeling.

Min - Neo (replacing Alfie)

This was the role I liked least, and that's why I was so reluctant to replace Alfie. Each night, Min got to look at two player's aura, and found something out about them. While I could have done a lot with this, I wasn't creative enough, so it became pretty obvious from auras whether that player was good or not.

Perrin - art begotti

Sorta a bulletproof Vest role. Protected by wolves from most attacks. Only Channelers, Padan Fain, and Myrddraal (50%) would succeed.

Mat - Dread Pirate Westley

Sorta a bulletproof Vest role. Protected by fox-head medallion from channelling, and had a chance of surviving any other attack.

Male Channelers - Degenerate (Logain), Eykir (Rand)

Could investigate every night. In addition, could use the Power to kill (Balefire). However, after using the Power twice, they got random results (this is the only thing I changed after the game started, I think. Didn't think about it until Eykir started killing, and thought it would be fitting).

Overall, after running the game, there are a lot of things I think I would do differently. So maybe we'll have WOT Mafia V.2.0 eventually.

It's too bad that we had so many changes right at the beginning. Maybe if Spectre hadn't replace AP, hey_herb wouldn't have attacked his own teammate first round.

mith forgot to mention that the bad guys were told PP's role at the beginning, and he learned the identities of the Forsakens. Any of us could talk with him at night. He couldn't reveal the identities of the Forsakens, but could reveal any other role, if he learned it.

I didn't particularly either. I was fairly certain I was swimming in bad guys at that point, though and wasn't going to believe anyone.
