::ALL Good morning everyone. I regret to inform you that one of you is no longer with us.
Tyenar has been torn limb from limb. Such violence could only have been achieved by a Nexus 6 replicant. He was human. His clipboard and wireless mike make it obvious that he was a bouncer.
With 9 remaining "persons", 5 votes are required for irradiation.
Have a nice day.

Yes.

Alternatively if you still doubt that we're on the town's side I suppose we'd have to sacrifice one of our players to the lynch.

Firstly, 'yesterday' when I saw Tyenar's post #1047 I composed this response (but then I realised it was night so didn't post it)......
quote: My problem is that I still don't quite believe they are on the side
of the town. It makes the town too powerful and add to the fact that the
suposed mafia
(the corp) has not been shown to make night kills just makes it hard to believe the repilcants are not mafia
The game was set up the way it was to make the town think that we were the bad guys. Remember, Samadhi said in his opening post thatquote: Some
replicants
escaped from the colonies two weeks ago. Killed twenty-three people and jumped a shuttle. An aerial patrol found the ship in the desert. No crew. They are believed to have infilitrated the city.
Only we (and presumably the corp) were told the truth in our e-mails, i.e. that the corp had actually killed the twenty-three people.
The town would thus only become 'too powerful' if and when they overcame the massive hurdle of realising that the replicants were not the bad guys.
This may
never have happened if not for Antrax, Mith and Mole. It could easily have turned into a straight replicant hunt. Only when all of us were wiped out would you have realised that the killing was still going on.
Even so, to say that the town is even now 'too powerful' is not exactly true since no investigator seems to be able to accurately identify the corp members.
Look at it another way. If the replicants were the mafia, wouldn't the game be too biased against them with so many investigators around?
I think the point about corp kills has already been answered.
Vote: Tyenar for his continued attempts to turn the game into a straight replicant hunt.

So I, at least went into the night thinking Tyenar was evil.
It's obvious that he has been a strong corp suspect for a while, and was nearly lynched yesterday. The fact that he was human played a big part in saving him, but all the corp may be human.
By the way we got another code released last night. But only 1 unfortunately. We think it's most likely from the OG kill rather than yesterday's lynch. |

I was also pretty convinced that one of us would be killed last night, which, combined with our suspicions of Tyenar, convinced me that we had to kill.

We will find out if Tyenar was corp tonight (i.e. if his code is released).
This is why I proposed no lynch earlier. I still suspect Tyenar may have been the last corp member. If he was then the remaining members may all be innocent.
In our first e-mail Sama said we needed to kill the corp members to release the 4 codes that each one had. He also said that our success was obviously dependant on the town not considering us a threat (presumably because you'd lynch us).
This all makes for a fuzzy end-game. i.e What happens if the last corp member dies. Do we then have to survive 1 day without being lynched? Do the townies have to declare their trust of us? Like I said, fuzzy. |

Potentially, this leaves the unresolved 'killer replicant' issue. I've thought about this, and considered some ideas from others, and I see a few possibilities (Feel free to contribute more if you've got any)
1. There is another corp member, a replicant, still alive.
2. We killed the corp replicant, but were not told he was a replicant by Samadhi.
3. There is a SK replicant out there.
4. The human corp members could fake a replicant kill. After all, they killed the shuttle passengers and blamed us. But we don't know if they convincingly faked replicant kills for them, or just blew them up or something.
5. The corp members could 'hire' the services of a replicant (not part of this game) to do their killing for them. This would tie in with macros (?) spotting someone going into a building who was not one of the 'players'.
I'm hoping that Tyenar was the last corp member, and that's why there was only 1 kill last night, and that either 2 4 or 5 are correct. |

ESPER:: Are you able to reprogramme yourself to accept a NO KILL vote today?
ESPER:: If whoever imposed the lockdown (for the sake of argument let's call them the corp) all die, will the lockdown cease immediately, or after a day or so? (I'm sure you could 'speculate' an answer). |

So to summarise. I think/hope that Tyenar was the last corp member. But we may only find this out tonight if there is no kill.
On this basis I propose we don't lynch today, and see what happens tonight. In such circumstance the replicants will not kill tonight.
This obviously involves even more trust on the part of the town, since there are 4 replicants left and 5 non-(group)replicants. If we were to kill tonight (and thus turn out to be evil), and there was no evil replicant (or Bladerunner) kill against us, then the town would face 4 'mafia against 4 townies. Not good odds ~ I can see your point of view. You've obviously trusted us so far, which we really do appreciate, but perhaps the voting balance is getting too close? Do you trust us implicitly, or only to a point :0/
If it's only to a point then you'll probably have to lynch one of us today. Preferably the weakest one (who probably wouldn't be able to withstand an evil replicant attack at night), which according to Sama would be [Name will be provided on request - I wouldn't want to tip off a killer replicant on our softest target if you decide not to lynch us].
Since we expected one of our gang to die last night anyway, I'm sure we could take it on the chin.
~phew~ I think that's all I want to say for now |

Well, I got Soothsayer as Human. That leaves everyone accounted for except me, and you'll just have to accept that the main character in the movie hasn't been killing people all game. I propose we sacrifce one of the replicants, just in case, and see what happens tonight. |

No. That does not stand to reason. If the parties responsible for the lockdown included themselves in the lockdown they would not set it up so that the "guilty" parties would go free if they died. It would make more sense for them to set it to automatically irradiate everyone in the sector if they died. However, I do not consider this likely.

If we're going to sacrifice a replicant, there's not much more to say.
I offer myself. As Mary, the cooking/cleaning unit, I am the weakest of the replicants by far. |

I think Tyenar was probably the last Corp, and I'd sort of like to end the game alive, so I agree. Vote: No Kill. On the other hand, a victory for the Town is a victory for me (following Antrax's principles, which are also my own,) so go ahead and irradiate me. Go on, give it your best shot.

Hmmm ... I was going to suggest we have a little more discussion before we end the day, as we could potentially be in exactly the same position tommorrow.
I'm not opposed to thinning out our group, but I would have preferred to see something positive to gain from it.
