I do not follow the dark path. I stand in the light, and follow the path of the Lord. If I could, I would find and burn every witch. Do I go around jumping on bandwagons? I could have sent someone on the path to the stake, but of them I was not sure. Does this sound like the moves of a wizard? I think not. Find someone more worthy of your ire.

Well, this isn't much of a witch-hunt if we don't lynch someone. Between the two bandwagons, the one for Arthur Wilkins seems slightly better reasoned (if only because I haven't been able to find any reason at all for the other one), so I guess I'll join that one. Besides, it's less of a change .

I have been blacklisted by seven of you. A mere ten is needed to tie me up and kill me. Now is the time, if ever there was, for me to reveal myself. I don't want the hours to go by without me being in on the conversation, three votes is easy in that time, especially with witches around. I am Arthur Wilkens, investigator. I was charged by the higher powers as such: "Each night you investigate someone to see if they are participating in any sort of witchcraft. You will find out if they are a Witch, a Cult member, or something else."

The first night I went over to Rebecca Parker's house, supposedly to borrow a cup of molasses, and through her window I saw her dancing naked around a cauldron screaming incantations. That is why I brought her name up first thing, and stuck to it. I did not change my vote the whole time. So now the choice is yours... you can continue on the path of ruination, and lynch an investigator, or you can lynch a witch and vindicate me. If she not be a witch, then my life is forfeit the next day. An even trade, as it were. Actually a good deal for the town.

Mind you, have I not protection this night, a trade will occur, but even, it will not be.

Has it occured to no one else that we could lynch both of them in one day if we moved quickly? First, we Unvote: Arthur Wilkins, Vote: Rebecca Parker to see if Arthur tells the truth or not. If after her death a close examination of her body reveals a witch's mark, we are one witch the lesser and one day closer to safety. If he lies to save his own accursed hide, we have four and twenty hours to lynch him, too. Not to mention a new judge will be chosen by casting lots to replace Rebecca if she dies anyway.

I believe you are mistaken in your last post, dear Elisabeth. It is my understanding that once Rebecca reaches ten votes (if indeed she does), we do not kill her immediately, but instead wait twenty-four hours for any last statements to be made. If more than one of us has over ten votes after this time then we kill them both. If this is the case, then we shall not be able to gather any information before the sun goes down.

We can test Rebecca's claim by having another judge vote for Arthur Wilkins. If she is truly a judge as she claims, she and her colleague will be able to have her accuser killed.

Andirson, decided to give her special key-of-lynching to a random citizen, selected by lot. Everyone went off to bed, most disappointed but eager to find the real Witches.

It is night. Sorry for the confusion. The one day thing is that day ends 1 day after someone reached 10 votes, and then anyone that is up for lynching dies and it's night (even if not the same person that reached 10 the day before).
