| How about a list of blacklisted mods? Mods who have routinely run games and abandoned them, or failed to enforce rules, allowed days/nights to drag, etc. |

| Vote: my idea (a merger of the mafiascum and old list ideas), which is like the Libertarian Party or something (getting ignored). But I don't really care either way. |

Hey, I didn't know I was in this game! How'd I become so suspicious?
vote: whatever
yes I'd like to mod a game, but if there is this much controversy about it, I don't have to. Whatever is decided I'll go along with. I'm a player, not a mod (or at least maybe just a one time mod ) |

mith, what, exactly, is your idea?
Macros or whomever, who exactly will maintain the list? And who defines if a game was successful or not?

Macros/Neo(who, incidentally, has never run a GL game, so would someone please tell me how he did at modding on mafiascum?): Um, what purpose would the blacklist have in a free-market scenario? The purpose of the free-market would be that no one signs up for games run by a bad mod.
Vote: Free Market
Free Market mafia modding is like democracy: "The worst system except all of the others."

| The blacklist would be posted for the newer incoming players who may not know who the bad mods are. |

Neo, have you read my question? Who maintains the list and who decides which games are bad?

Antrax: No, I saw the post, but it said Macros, so I skipped it
Who maintains the list isn't really an issue (IMO) I was thinking just a thread floating around (or locked at the top if a GL Mafia Forum is opened) with a list.
As for deciding if a game was bad, I still think it's fairly easy to tell. Anybody outside the game can tell if days and nights consistantly drag on with little done about it. The players can tell since they were in direct contact. The exact requirements (ie what makes a mod bad, a game bad, how many games before a mod is blacklisted, etc) could be hammered out by the players and mods as a whole if the idea were to be accepted. |

What if I run a 20 player game, 5 players hated it and 15 loved it? What if outsides say the nights took forever, but all the players thought it's peachy because they were busy? If the thread is locked on top, who can edit the post, and if it's a regular thread, who can post to it?
Not so trivial.
