this game is moving so slow... no one seems to want to say much at this point.
i'm still not ready to vote yet, but I have a question for everyone. If Green Crayons is the only doctor, then we'll probably both die tonight. Should I reveal my investigations now? or do you want to take the chance that there is another doctor out there? |

TAN I think you should reveal. I think it unlikely that in a 12 person game we have more than 1 doc and 1 cop. I don't have any particularly good ideas at this point which is why I haven't voted so knowing other possible* innocents wouldn't hurt.
*The possible is because it is possible you are not a cop although I find it unlikely.

Quiller my reason was the second part of the sentence above the quote, about being defensive.
And if you would care to read the thread again you will find that I asked for the cop...now Tanstaafl...to investigate me and he did say Originally posted by TANSTAAFL: Unfortunately I did not find any scum last night, just another innocent. I apparently am not a very good investigator
so...
this raises my suspicion of you even more! |

First of all I'm a she not a he
Second, I did not say who I investigated yet, but I agree with Mikegoo that it is doubtful that there is another doc in a 12 person game. But I haven't played many games, so I don't know for sure the probability of it. Unless someone objects, I will post my investigations tomorrow morning. |

| Rubbish, Garm. Cops are not obliged to follow your suggestions in the first place (and I agree Tanstaafl that it is a good idea to come out with all your info), and you might be a Godfather as well. |

Question for amb: a comatose person cannot vote or post during the day, can they still perform a night action the following night? Or not unless they are saved by a doc?
If the person dies by not being revived, then they wont get a night choice. |

Unfortunately I do not have that much info to add. I investigated Werebear night 1 and got him as innocent. Apparently he was very popular that night, he was targeted by the mafia, the doctor, and the cop . As you all know, I investigated Soothsayer night 2 and got him as innocent. And last night I investigated Gaspode and found him innocent.
So here are the current players:
GARM
Gaspode (innocent)
Green Crayons (doctor)
Jesternl
Mikegoo
Quiller
Sivat
Soothsayer (innocent)
TANSTAAFL (cop)
We have 5 unknowns, and my guess would be that two of them are Mafia.

Five suspects:
GARM
Jesternl
Mikegoo
Quiller
Sivat
Let's look at the first few votes for scum Tfffff:
1. Sivat
2. Jesternl
3. Green Crayons
4. Mikegoo
I think it is unlikely that so early in the game the mafia would be bandwagoning their fellow member, so that would make Mikegoo very probably innocent, and Jesternl also likely innocent. Sivat as first random vote could vey well be mafia.
That narrows it down (if I am correct) to
GARM
Quiller
Sivat
Lynch us three and we win. Garm is the only one of us who did not vote Tfff at all, might as well start there.
confirm vote Garm |

GARM role claim please or some reason why I should not vote for you.
And because I hate misinformation.
Sooth...quiller put his name in his list of 3 folks to be lynched for a win quote: That narrows it down (if I am correct) to
GARM
Quiller
Sivat
I'm not sying this is a good list as it relies on way too many assumptions of honesty and intelligent play (never givens in a mafia game), but it was not quiller trying to exonerate himself.

plus, you hinted at special abilities yesterday, why wouldn't the mafia target you instead of Green Crayons, who they had no way of knowing was the doctor. |

bah, there's hardly enough reason for townies to talk. I don't know who is who, and i'm too confused by all of this talk between GARM, Quiller, TANSTAAFL and Soothsayer that my head is spinning.
I'll Vote: GARM because somone else pointed out earlier that scum who was on the block voted for Quiller, so he's not likely to be the same. And I think TAN and Sooth are probably telling the truth. |

Garm was grabbed, and he was rather quiet and didnt seem to fight back.
Garm, the mafia recruiter and strangler has been lynched.
But heres where the game went wrong. Despite being able to recruit under certain cicumstances, the mafia never successfully recruited. (They couldnt recruit players with skilled roles)
Result: Town wins
Heres the gist of the game
2 Mafia with the ability to recruit, but had a time limit on being able to do it.
1 Compeletely sane Cop
1 Doctor
1 Schizophrenic whos night choice altered every night through a set list.
Each of the mafia if sent out to kill had a different effect - that they didnt know.
TFFFF the stabber - Normal mafia
GARM the strangler - Put people in comas when attacking regardless of protection. The person would die the next night. (Werebear incidentally couldnt be comatosed - his role was the counter to the mafia recruiting, and had the chance to save the doc if the doc was comatosed)
Night One: Cop investigated Werebear. Doc protected Werebear. Mafia attacked Werebear. Mafia didnt recruit.
Day One: The town gets lucky and lynches TFFFF (I think I know what the F's stand for now)
Night Two: The doc ignores Werebear and protects Gaspode. Werebear moves to "Lynch Immune" on his skill list and makes Sivat immune. Garm strangles and kills Werebear after learning the attempted recruit of him has failed*. Tanstaafl the cop investigates Soothsayer.
Day Two: The town lynches Spartacus
Night Two: Garm attacks Green Crayons - AND DIDNT TRY TO RECRUIT Cop investigated Gaspode, and GC protected Tanstaafl.
Day Two: Garm gets lynched - and leaves the game with no mafia in it.
* He wasnt supposed to do that, but I foolishly accepted his request to recruit, emailled him back and said Werebear declined. He then submitted WB as his kill. I should have made the choices compulsory to send together. My bad
I was worried the town was going to win on day 2 after the failed recruit - but when Sparticus was lynched I had a faint hope - if the mafia grew back to 2 in size, it was an even game. That wasnt to be...
I think the game was slightly balanced toward town, but they won the game convincingly, and beating a mafia team that can grow for the first few nights (with a max size of 3) is pretty damned amazing.
Well done Town.

Well done town, I really dislike being scum. This was my first time and hope I never get it again.
You see I really detest lying so I don't do it. That is why I didn't role claim at the end.
Well done again and have a good christmas

My, wasn't I the POPULAR one! *shakes head* I had the fun role, and didn't get to use it. *laugh* Let this be a lesson to future mafia - if you have a chance to either KILL or RECRUIT..... recruit every time. Either you'll learn who is and isn't a townie, or your mafia will grow. And if that person had been investigated, and the cop reveals, that mafia member will have a clean bill of townieship. May I just ask, why didn't you guys recruit instead of kill
