Hmm. I'm not sure if I even should have posted that, since it is outside the game to some extent, so I'll wait for clarification from the mod before explaining why it applies to my theory.

Yokay then, never mind. But I still like the theory that chucky's under someone's control. It would be a clever pickup on the Chucky series, not that I've seen any of the films, but isn't it about a wooden doll who comes to life and starts killing people?
And vote: Werebear.
Question #2. How did Hitchhiker die? Death scene says heart attack, which is odd. |

Well, not much use as is now for the 'chucky' argument. Don't ask me why, but I think you're right. And given that the piece of paper mentioned 'kill' I would suspect that his 'master' would be evil.
And also a random vote: Green Crayons. =p. |

| My guess would be (I've never seen the movies, so this may have little to do with how it works). Chucky is indestructible until his master is killed and / or the possibility exists that Chucky is able to be killed, but it will also kill the Master at the same time or soon after. |

Sorry for not partaking in discussion. My 11 year cat died a few nights ago, and.. yeah. Not fun.
Anyways, Vote: Werebear.
Yes, i'm starting a bandwagon.
Yes, i know i'm doing this.
Yes, i want to see where it leads.
I would like to know more about the recycling and heart attacks, as well. I would agree that chucky is probably under control, and therefore, FOS: chucky, simply because we don't know if the man pulling the strings is good or bad. |

my vote is still standing strong. mikegoo hasn't talked once. not even before the game began! lurking in the shadows is always a bad thing. i think. right? |

I like the idea of a character you can't kill. Maybe in my next Mafia I'll have God be a role.
Hmm, that might unbalance the game.
Ah, but what if God decided He liked the Mafia? Brilliant!

Let's see, if i wanted to just stay in the background, wouldn't i just be quiet, instead of admitting to setting off a bandwagon, that may or may not lynch someone - who may or may not be innocent? It sounds like putting myself in a pretty suspicious situation if things should turn out a certain way.
Oh, and i think i'll put the role i sent in down on the table, simply because it'll get the bad guys looking over their own shoulders: There's a traitor in your mist, fella's (and ladies), who wants to be the sole survivor. If the role i sent in is more or less still intact, one of the mafia members wants to be the only mafia member left alive. Don't know how amb worked that in there. But. Yeah. Be afraid, mafia. Very, very afraid. |

Vote: no-one yet
If there is a traitor in the mafia, then that works for the town. Such a traitor would need to keep the mafia alive most of the way through the game, otherwise, it would be very obvious if this particular mafia was trying to get at his "family" during the day.
If my role were implemented, both Mafia and Town would have been in trouble. In my role, one or more townies were bonded to one or more mafia. One death of any kills them all. However, amb said he deleted it when I originally said I couldn't play. Does that make anyone feel safer?
For the record: 19 can vote and only 14 have made an initial vote. Where are jadesmar, macros, RSA, Trevize, and Vegt? |

Beartalon, your role could account for almost everything we know so far. SK and Hitchiker both could've died of non-mafia causes, and chucky's "master" comment could be something similar.

So what happens when the town tries to lynch God Quercitron? Does the whole town lose - or do we just need to make a quick trip to the crucifix shop.

Maybe so, but if it's being used, it's not in it's original form as I gave it to amb. Mine was complex enough that it would be fairly simple for me to identify, but only after a few days or nights of playing.
And to Macros: almost everyone in this game wrote a role (amb made up some), mine is probably no more treacherous or vendicive than some others submitted, and certainly not worth a vote.
My question is: if someone reveals a role, what good is it possibly going to do? The person who wrote the role will have an advantage of knowing it's presence, not the revealing party since we haven't been revealing much role information to each other. Or is that how we're expected to play this? How many of you want written role revealment at such an early stage of the game? Unless I had agreement from most players, I wouldn't want to tip my hand about what interesting things might play out. |

| I think I confused myself, so I'll restate that: What good will it be for the mafia or town to know what roles exist for the mafia or town? Paranoia will probably rule the day. A good role for the town will mean increased mafia hit attempts on who they think those people might be; a good role for the mafia will mean increased chance of ferreting out a great lynch. Doesn't it remove the possibilities of making mistakes and living with the consequences for either side? |

Alright, Macros' post did it for me. There is an obvious lynch-race going on here, and he doesn't commit to any of the wagons - meaning, it seems like he's going out of his way to look like he's trying to be pro-town.
Either he's just pussy footing around, or he's purposefully trying to stay of a wagon that's going to lynch someone innocent. I think it's the second.

I very much read your post, and here's what i see:
You make a reference to you not being online. We have nothing to support that except for you saying so. For all i know, you are actually mafia, who has been lurking in the shadows - but you don't want it to look too suspicious for later days, so you pipe in today, giving a plausable reason that can't really be prooved or disprooved. I believe i also pulled such a trick when i was mafia once.
As for your fun joke: Yeah, just backing up what i'm saying. There's a serious vote competition going on, and you add in a joke vote. A joke vote that doesn't make you look bad on the later days because you weren't on a bandwagon. I can see it now: "Look, i've been playing in the towns best interest from day one! Remember those bandwagons against those three people? I didn't hop on any of them! I must be a good-hearted townie!"
It just looks like you're trying too hard to look good. |

clearly you have no sense of humour, as bearty laughed. as for the vote race? not really, one person was on 3 votes, someone said "oh lets votes, that other person to make 2 on 3 votes" if anything, thats MORE suspicious than my vote. |
