MacadamiamaN, I was about to vote for you for switching between no lynch and nothing so much, but now I'm curious. Would you like to share anymore info?

I think you're confused. The only vote I have done is not to lynch. I also FOS'd Tanstaafl earlier. I switched no lynch to "Robinson" (which was not a switch, but just to spite Robinson ), then I decided to unvote.

The information I gave is the bulk of my Night 2's information. I also have information on Tanstaafl, which is why I FOS'd her after sorting it all out.

What I gather by combining information from me, Tanst, and amb, is this:

Amb stayed at home (reply 40)
I saw someone walking on the street following MatthewV. (my last post)
Tanst is walking on the street, but I didn't see her specifically (reply 39)
There is someone who drives a car, probably the killer. (reply 39)

To specify:

Two people "went after", and "followed" MatthewV.

The killers in the car "went after" MatthewV.
Someone "followed" MatthewV (cop?)

Nobody came near me last night, because I've been reliably (?) informed that I would know if someone else approached me.

I'm wondering if everything we discuss -- or speculate about -- will somehow find its way into Robinson's story to the sire. So far it seems that Robinson reports role claims as being a part of the character (as with TANSTAAFL) and that he has clear opinions on who is guilty and who is not. And that he is capable of directly contradicting himself.

So here's a statement to consider: I believe that we will all live through this night.

unvote: planky

ok, i'm completely confused now. it sounds like everyone gets a little bit of information each night, but not enough to really piece together what is happening. I'm not sure no lynch is the best strategy, but I don't have any real suspicions right now as to who we should lynch. Did I say I was confused yet?

MacadamiaN: I claimed a role because amb said he had reason to beleive that I knew something, so I shared what I knew. I think I was justified in asking how he knew that I was there, I'm still curious, but I won't press for more info because he obviously is not ready to share it.

All else failing, I'm going to resort to my old tried-and-true standby.

Everyone here has been posting really often and a lot.... except one. Even MacadamiamaN, who STARTED page 3, has at least four times the posts of the quiet Polotet, whose only maneuver this game has to been vote, then unvote the prince. That's it.

Vote: Polotet for blatent non-posting while proving that he's at least reading the game.

There is something wrong with the site at the moment. My entire post vanished and Im not rewriting all the logic I used.

Unvote No Lynch
Vote Polotet

I posted a section of logic stating I think HH might be right (re no deaths tonight possibility) and why and also why not. I posted saying we need to get moving - we may be able to solve the puzzle in reverse etc, but then when the page reloaded my post wasnt there. So I did a fix bump - and still nothing. Bleh! Bleh! This might be just me, but each night i have the option of going out or not going out. I went out the first night and saw somone in a black car. I thought i recognized em, but couldn't get the plates on it. Theres no info on whether it was a mafia car or not. The second night pocrastinated from sending in an email and then the day started I think there might be some correlation between whether we go out, and whether we are killed.

Polotet, everyone's confused. Get over it and try to contribute to the game. You can still figure out who's suspicious without knowing anything about the "puzzle" that is this game.

Hmmmm...... conversation seems dead, so I might as well start it up again, even if it means i get lynched. I am suspicious of planky.
quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Try to make some progress against someone who you really think is suspicious
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think its lame just to vote someone for not talking in the first place - it doesnt achieve anything in the first place, although it is day 2 - so it could well be that someone is hiding behind that reason in order to get me lynched. if that doesnt work, no doubt I will be killed by the mafia during the night

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, why don't you try anyway, if it won't make any difference?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the moment I will hold off doing a role claim until I have more votes against me, however I will vote: Vegtable2001

Everything about this post screams cop that won't come out. He attempts to divert the bandwagon against him, first saying the mafia would target him specifically, and then talking about his reluctance to do a role claim. Then he votes me, with no other information given. Does this seem like anyone else to be how a bandwagoned cop would behave? You might ask then why i am suspicious of him, somone who is so clearly acting like a cop. Everyone else seems to be some sort of random townie with some mild information gathering ability. We already know there are no doctors (well, there are probably not doctors) and it would not suprise me if there were not any true cops either. But how would our friend Planky know this? This was before most of the role claims. For now i'll Vote Planky and Fos Anyone who bandwagons him. Give him a chance to argue

Your not putting up much of a townie image if you think Im a cop and you want me lynched, thats seems really stupid and its putting you in the spotlight. You say you'll give me a chance to argue - why vote me then? why not just fos me and let me defend myself, then vote me if you still think it necessary

Quote:
Everyone else seems to be some sort of random townie with some mild information gathering ability.

Seems a standard part of being a townie, which is how the townies should help each other. Not everyone seems willing to do that - including myself. If we post the info we gather, we could elimate the mafia very quickly and yes there will be townies who get taken out, but thats to be expected.

Then he votes me, with no other information given.

Care to tell then, my good friend, why you were sneaking around on night 1 with a gun in hand?

I don't agree with that first quote. I think there are mafia, and I think there are cops. How did someone see a mafia in that car? Then, logically, if there's mafia, there must be cops.

What confuses the hell out of me, is that I'm not getting these other roles.

Also, what annoys the hell out of me, is the fact that X alawys votes for Y when Y makes a statement that X doesn't understand. Thuogh I may end up voting for Veg if he does seem to be harmful in some way, I don't think that a single statement like that deserves him 2 more votes.

Planky, did you see Veg during night 1? If you did, why didn't you tell us? Elaborate...

I am a firm believer in getting those silent ones up to almost lynching and making them talk. There is no excuse for not talking, unless you don't realize the game is on. This game started as a bunch of people sitting in a circle in a room accusing each other of being mafia - there was no chance of someone merely keeping quiet and avoiding accusations. That mafia can last days and days with no (or nominal) input (while those townies who are sincere about playing are busy accusing each other) is one of my biggest pet peeves about this game. When all else fails, I will consistenly vote a silent one. Communication only helps the town.

Unvote Planky I didn't say i thought he was a cop, i said he was acting like a cop. Would a cop be in this game? I doubt it. With the information he provided though, i can confirm his innocence. A mafia member would not get information like that. Yes planky, i have a gun. I don't have the email handy on this comp, but my character is "The Dancer" or something. All i like to do is dance. Each night i can choose to go out dancing, or to stay home. I also bought a gun, i don't really know how to use it, but where i go, it goes. That pretty much summarizes my email. What does the gun mean? Who knows? It might mean i have protection from mafia. It might mean if somone targets me they die. Until you came up i was afraid it might mean people who got information on me died. The information i got the first night is this. I see a black car drive by. The car is familiar looking, but i can't remember whose it is. It might be a mafia car, it might not. If you're still unconvinced, bandwagon away, but if i am lynched, don't go lynching Planky tommorow.

Actually, we don't know for sure that Trevize was a cop -- we only have Robinson's word for it. But if he really was, then there's a good chance we might have a doc as well.

Now might be a good time to think about what else Robinson can be lying about.
