Ok, still haven't heard from several people, but day shall begin. If the vote this day goes for someone who hasn't responded in thread or by email, I will email them and give them a brief chance to defend themself.

After a very long night, day dawns and the well-rested townsfolk emerge from their houses. At least most of them do. You discover the body of quercitron, never to rise again. It's vengenance time once more.

I stated yesterday that I didn't think the reasoning for lynching degenerate was sound, and it turns out he was innocent. he also asked for us to lynch quailman if that is what was revealed.
Finally, Quailman didn't vote for Faerie Fire until the end, and even as he cast that vote, he was arguing for degenerate's demise.

I still think the reasoning was sound in absence of any other leads. I see no reason to vote off Quailman for using logic, just because the result was wrong. On the other hand, I don't think Garm and/or Tanstaafl are mafia, as the mafia would probably not start the attack on Quailman. So I will choose one of the others:

I am also going on a hunch that I had yesterday. You will notice that I didn't vote for Degenerate yesterday but for Quailman. So this vote is a continuation of my hunch. Go back and read thru Quails posts, you may think the same.

I will vote: MatthewV because I don't have anything else to go on. I am suspicious of Quailman, but then I am always suspicious of him. I won't vote for him because I agreed with his logic and because if he is on our side (the towns) he is a big asset.

I recieved an email from someone who isnt playing and doesnt wish to be quoted saying cyberdork may not be playing/left the GL due to a death of a relative. This sums up the email. Have you recieved confirmation from him? If no, another replacement might me needed. Inform me soon please. unvote cyberdork (although I still like my logic)

I had not heard anything about Cyberdork departing the GL. He has not yet confirmed receipt of the mass email, but many players haven't. Could the non-player with the info email me, please? As I said, if a player who has not responded recieves 6 votes, I will allow a short extra time for them to defend themselves, but I do not want to try and replace many players at this stage of the game.

Cyberdork took a few weeks off last month due to a family emergency... came back and posted in all his games that he would be back soon, and hasn't appeared or posted in a month, as far as I can tell. I wouldn't rely on him coming back before the end of the game, but hopefully he will. Need a temorary replacement?

Not enough votes to lynch. The townsfolk head off towards bed, hoping the mafia are similarly inclined.

I have not heard from crackerjack, Cyberdork, or Nauplius. I will send them one last email in an attempt to let them rejoin the game. If they do not respond to the email by the time dawn breaks, I will replace them. I am going to start a thread looking for replacements now, so that potential new players are ready as soon as the next day starts. Deceased townies may serve as replacements.

Sorry if day seemed short, I had the deadline in the first post of the thread. I tried to contact amb and Leonidas when I needed to replace Lucresia. I didn't hear back, so I will take the first two replacements from the new list. Since crackerjack has shown up, he will not be replaced. Bear Skin Rug/Wearbear (which name did you want to use?) is replacing Cyberdork and Degenerate is replacing Nauplius.

You all wake up and head down to the town square. MatthewV is missing. When you check his house, you see that he has in fact drawn the mafia's attention. Yet another innocent townsfolk dead.

Daytime, 6 to lynch. Deadline is 9 am Thursday.
