| Well if the town fails to lynch today the mafia win. So, in the absence of any firm evidence I'm going for yesterday's favourite. It seems to be the best chance of reaching lynch numbers, so vote: Quailman |

| As I said yesterday, I regret the unfortunate lynching of an innocent, but I am a simple townie. I was trying to get this game moving, so I went after someone who had edited a post from the day before. I can't bring him back. A lot of you agreed with me. |

I still agree with you. However, we have to lynch someone, even a townie, or we lose. As many people check in only sporadically, the chance of getting enough votes before the day ends is too low not to:
unvote whomever I was voting for, vote Quailman |

The deadline is Thursday. Even though I'm not convinced of Quailman's guilt, I'll cast the last vote Wednesday, unless someone comes up with a better target by then.

Quail, can you refer me to which post was edited? If something like that occurs, it is not only suspicious, but against the rules.
I just finished scanning the thread for the post Quail mentioned, and I noticed we are missing Post 199. Deleting or altering a post is not at all allowed, guys. Not much point in my asking if anyone saw the guilty poster, unless you all saw that post and remember who it was.
If anyone deletes a post that I see, they are out of the game. |

Oh, no! I committed the classic Mafia blunder. I confused this game with another in which a person edited a post, I called him on it, and he was lynched. Of course he was a townie.
Now that I look back at my reason for voting degenerate in this game, I stand behind that. Our murdered cop had voted for him on the previous day. What can I say? I would probably vote for me if I were you, but it won't help the town. That's all I have to say. |

Ok, missing post found thanks to Hy's Minotaurness. It was a just a duplicate of Degenerate's post #201. (I'm guessing dueling posts with Bear Skin Rug's 200).
For future reference, if a duplicate post happens, just leave it in Mafia games (at least in mine). |

Well, the town decides they have had enough of Quailman’s suspicious behavior, and they haul him off to the gallows. Then follows the ritual checking of pockets. All you find is a prescription for glasses (which he apparently needed ) Another townie bites the dust. The townsfolk sadly head off to bed, awaiting another night of mafia violence.
Night falls. Morning will dawn at 9am Friday, or when I have received all night choices, whichever comes first. |

Dawn breaks, and the townsfolk emerge from their homes with a feeling of deja vu. Yet again, one of their freinds is missing. Familiar with this routine, they head over to Sparhawk's place just in case, but no such luck. They try to figure out who among them could do these horrible things. Time to try and kill the evil doers in your midst.
Daytime, 5 to lynch, deadline is 9am Wed.

This is getting worse and worse for the town. If there's another cop out there I think this may be the time to come forward with info.
We've lost one cop and one doc so far. But if there's another cop, I would expect that there'd be another doc to protect him too.
One mafia has been killed. Which probably means that there's 3 or 4 left.
There has only ever been one kill per night, so unless a second doc has been very lucky, I don't think that there's an SK. Lilifreid also only made note of mafia, townies, docs, and cops in the rules, which reinforces the no SK theory.
Anyone else got any thoughts. We're going to have to be very careful from now on. If there are 4 mafia left, and we lynch another good guy today, and the mafia have a sucessful kill overnight, there'll be more mafia than townies tomorrow, and game over. |

The kill count - 8 townies, 1 cop, 1 doc, and... 1 mafia.
There HAVE to be at LEAST three mafia left. four would not surprise me. We have not done a very good job, but then having our cop and doc slain the first three days was not the best bit of luck.
Why am I saying this? I'm not sure myself, but I'm posting in all the other mafias I'm in, and didn't want to skip this one. *Grin* |

We need to lynch today: if we don't, we are in trouble as we'll have 5-3 or 4-4 tomorrow. 4-4 is a loss, and 5-3 isn't exactly a picnic: all 5 town members would need to agree.
Until a cop comes out, I'll
Vote: Quiller

This is rich, coming from someone who has been on the first Quailman bandwagon:
Reply 186: PP jumps on. I refuse. No lynch.
Note that the second time he did not have to, as Quailman got the votes in time. I clearly stated why I voted Quailman although I considered him innocent. PP, active voter on the first bandwagon refrains from the second one. Why? Easy... he is scum and a second mo-lynch would mean a won game.

For what it's worth I don't find either PP or Quiller suspicious. IMO the votes against Quailman weren't particularly suspicious given the lack of info we had to go on, and the fact that Degenerate had voiced concerns over Quail.
My guess is that you two are both townies, and we're at risk of losing both of you in the same way we lost Degenerate and Quail (arguing against each other), while the mafia just look on and laugh. |

I'll agree with porro's second statement there, and tentatively with his first. I look at the active discussion today and see exactly what Quiller meant with his rationalization of that vote.
I would like to take the opportunity to say something now:
IF THERE ARE 4 MAFIA AND WE DON'T LYNCH ONE TODAY, WE LOSE!
If anyone has a good idea, they could please speak up?
If not, I'd prefer we lynch someone, even at random, now, than find out that we lost due to sitting here like idiots today.
Unvote: Quiller

| Sorry for the delay... I didn't have a chance to check in yesterday. We only have ~24 hours left until the deadline. I don't see too much to go on. The only person that has stood out to me is crackerjack. he hasn't contributed to the game in days (game days and real life weeks) though he said he would. And back when he was more active in the game, though not very, he was not beneficial to the town. so i'm going to vote: crackerjack |

Don't just sit back and await for the mod to award the game to the mafia.
The way I see it we gain nothing from another no-lynch today. We'll just wake up tomorrow with no new info, and one townie less. We've got to try and get a mafia lynched today. |

Well, a no lynch looks likely.
Silent players suck.
I also find Degenerate's vote suspicious. If he had info on GARM, or a reason why people shouldn't be voting crackerjack, an explanation would have been nice. Does no-one else see the logic in lynching today? No-one has argued against it.

Yes they've turned up (late), but their posts contribute nothing. Mafia trying not to look like lurkers perhaps? |

Sorry to be a bit late, was running late to class this morning. I do see Wearbear’s and Quiller’s votes for crackerjack, but they came in after the deadline, and I said that I wouldn’t accept those. Night comes crashing down, much to the surprise of the townsfolk. Since it’s too dark to set up the gallows, they head home for a night of fitful sleep.

The townsfolk awake and head down to the town square. Resignedly, they look around to see who is missing. Everybody seems to be there, though. After taking a head count, they come to the conclusion that the mafia took a night off. After all, nobody has been lynched since the last night kill. They decide not to question their good fortune, and instead resume the search for evil.
Remember, there must be a lynch today. Deadline is 9am Thursday. |

| I have no clue whatsoever. crackerjack hasn't been posting, so he's as good a choice as any. In fact, if he doesn't post, we HAVE to lynch him. If we end up in a situation where we need all town members to lynch, the mafia can deadlock the vote as long as he's not here (that's assuming he's town, but him being maf would certainly be a perk). |
