I still think PP is the most suspicious for reasons posted 'yesterday'. However, I am not sure I will have much access the coming days, so
vote Crackerjack |

| I'm in no hurry to lynch crackerjack, even though it is annoying he's not posting. I do intend on lynching SOMEONE before the deadline, so I will vote later in the game. I suppose hoping for information is too much... |

| Lili has already offered to replace Crackerjack, and he said that he didn't need to be replaced. He said he would participate, and then didn't. In my mind that makes it a concious decision to lurk. I'm staying with my vote from yesterday: vote: crackerjack |

I am also starting to develop a hunch on another player and if CJ proves to be innocent then I will be voting for that person tomorrow. |

Current Vote Count:
crackerjack – 5
PuzzleProdigy
Porro
Quiller
TANSTAAFL
GARM
That is, indeed, 5. The silent crackerjack is marched to the gallows and dutifully hanged. The requisite search is conducted, but no evidence of guilt is found. Another innocent bites the dust.
Night choices due by 9am Sat.
And if anyone was wondering, I will let you know when you have no chance. |

The sun rises, but not for all the people on whom it set. Apparently, one bear skin rug is not enough for this mafia family. Wearbear (or whatever name he is playing under) is found dead in his home. Another townie lost.
Ok, time to vote. 4 votes needed to lynch. Deadline 9am Thursday. |

Living Players (7):
Degenerate (was Nauplius)
GARM
Porro
PuzzleProdigy
Quiller
TANSTAAFL
Vegtable2001
The day starting from post 196, we were in the danger of losing by default if we did not lynch. The easiest mafia tactics would be to sit and wait that day.
Voted for Quailman that day: Garm, Degenerate, Porro, Quiller, Vegtable2001, TANSTAAFL
So I am still sticking with my previous
vote PuzzleProdigy

But, I'll not vote the way you are. I'm voting for a player who didn't post yesterday, when we needed to lynch.

I agree about the silent players.
Someone who seems to be lurking is Degenerate. That, allied to my suspicions of him (in my reply 227), makes me think he's mafia, so Vote: Degenerate

I've looked back through the last few pages of the thread, but I can't bring myself to vote PP, because I don't find him as suspicious as Degenerate, and to make an error now will give the game to the mafia.
Quiller has pointed out that PP wasn't on the lynch vote for Quailman, but (more importantly IMO) he was there yesterday voteing for cj, unlike Degenerate.
The day before, Degenerate also appeared to frivoulously vote GARM. It was too late in the game for silly votes, but Degenerate didn't give any reason for it, or claim cop. If he'd voted then we may have got to lynch numbers (only one further vote would have been needed). If he's a cop, NOW is the time to come forward. But somehow I doubt he is, I think he's lurking scum. Of course, if he is a cop, we should all be voting GARM :/ |

| PP, i think it's a bit late in the game to throw in a seemingly random vote without anything to back it up. However after reading through the thread, I can't really find anything suspicious enough to vote you on. I'm going to keep reading, I want to go through Degen's posts before I join the voting. |

And indeed, Degenerate (again) has enough votes to be lynched. Feeling rather bored, he does a handspring leading into a triple somersault, kicking the release lever on the way past and landing with his neck in the noose. Startled by this display of acrobatics, it takes the townsfolk a few moments to collect their wits and search the body. Nothing. It seems you’ve once again found an innocent townsperson.
As night falls, you all look nervously around, counting the survivors. 6 people. You all know that it must be fairly close, but no one makes a move. You all go to your houses with crossed fingers, awaiting the morning with a cold feeling of dread.
Night, all choices due by 9am Fri. |

A shot rings out in the night. Followed swiftly by two more. The townsfolk sneak out of their houses to try and find the source of the sounds. GARM bumps into Quiller just outside the town square. They briefly scuffle, then realize that neither seems to be armed. GARM whispers, “So, you’re just an innocent townie?”
“Yeah, you too?”
“Yeah. Maybe I should have kept my vote on PuzzleProdigy….”
“Too late for that. I think the shots came from over there.”
Vegtable2001’s house is the only one still occupied in that direction. The two slip in to see if there’s anything they can do. It’s not a pretty sight. Apparently, the mafia threw caution to the winds, realizing that they had nearly completed their conquest of the town. Poor Vegtable2001 appears to have suffered three gunshot wounds, to the head, heart, and pinky toe (it seems someone has bad aim). The house has been ransacked, but there is no sign of medical equipment or a police badge. It appears that this was another innocent. Quiller looks at GARM. “You know, I think we may be in over our heads. Maybe we should just slip out of town.”
Click
“A bit late for that, my naïve friends.” PuzzleProdigy steps out of the closet with his gun drawn.
TANSTAAFL joins him from the bathroom, also with her gun trained on you. “You’ve both been far too much of a nuisance to let you live.”
“But at least we’ll make it fairly quick.” Porro steps into the room from the balcony, and all three Mafioso open fire. GARM and Quiller drop to the floor, instantly dead.
The three evil-doers head out into the crisp night air.
“That wasn’t too hard.”
“So what do we do now that we’ve run out of townies?”
“We could always move to another town and start again.”
“Works for me.”
“Me too.”
And so the mafia stroll off into the sunrise, looking for another town to take over. |

The fixed deadlines were OK, but not in combination with the "must lynch every other day" and "no lynch at deadline without majority" rules. Of course, those helped the mafia, so I'll try not to whine too much . |
