The residents of Peaceville have felt that there is something vaguely wrong all day, but they ignore the feeling and trundle off to their safe little beds. Or perhaps not so safe...
Townsfolk, you are soon to discover that your lovely hamlet has been invaded by the Giovanni crime family, and they want to take over! It is up to you to stop them the only way you know how - semi-random acts of violence and lynching. The rules are in the first post of this thread.
http://www.greylabyrinth.com/Forums/Forum9/HTML/001186.html?24
E-mails have been sent to those who need them, townies did not recieve an e-mail. (They may have been sent subjectless, because I am tired.)
Good morning town, time to lynch a suspicious type person. Or something.
Game Status: GAME OVER Mafia Win

The doctor had a hunch that something bad would happen after dark, so when night fell, he went for a walk, in case someone needed his help. Hearing a gunshot, he ran toward the sound, hoping he'd be in time to save whoever it was. However, as he looked for the wounded citizen he was trying to save, a figure stepped out of the shadows. The last thing Dr. Soothsayer heard before he was killed was evil laughter directly behind him.
"I can't believe somebody fell for the townie in distress routine!" the killer chuckled as he brushed himself off and walked away into the shadows.
The sun rises over the not-so-Peaceville, and the citizens find the body of Soothsayer, with his medical bag lying next to him. You cannot allow such an evil deed to go unpunished!!! Citizens, seek vengence!! |

I recieved an e-mailed question that I thought I'd answer here for anyone who was wondering. The question was: Do we know how many of each player type there are?
The answer: No, you don't. There may or may not be a cop or cops. There may or may not be more doctors. I will say there are mafia though, and townies |

We need to come up with some universal random vote or something. If everyone just randoms, we wont actually get anywhere. On the other hand i think its a bit drastic to vote Faeriefire just for saying she'd be upbeat about starting a bandwagon. On the other hand (yes i have 3 hands) it makes just as much sense as a random vote. First round analysis folks, you get what you pay for

Dang! Not only do we lose a doc, but no Saturn 5's!
Let me pull out a nice and shiny d20 (well, d19 w/o Sooth).
Check that again. d18 unless I wanna vote for myself.
Anyhoo, I randomly Vote: Quailman. Don't ask me why, the d18 speaks, and I obey.

OMGUS (x2) Vote: Logain The first OMGUS is for the vote, the second for not realizing that I didn't know I was playing until after the day started, so should I actually BE mafia, I would have had no say whatsoever in the killing. Also, might I add, I find the lack of emails for townies unnerving. O gracious mod, I recommend next time sending an email to everyone, even townies, so there isn't confusion... and those who don't get emails are sure of their roles.

Really, I have so much time on my hands and one would expect the first day to be a drag because there's no basis for accusing people, so I thought I'd move it along.
And Degenerate, if you want to bring personal problems to the game, I'd gladly talk about the calluses on my feet. |

Tell me about it, s00th. I was looking forwards to the SK role in Anarchy, and off I go night 1. If I'd taken a mafia out with me, then the town would have been able to sleepwalk through the game.

Geez I hate it when Werebear is right , he did offer to leave the game and have an alternate play in his place, so I can definitely see him not knowing he was in the game till after it started. It still doesn't prove his innocence though since as a mafia group member, the rest of them could've easily chosen a target without his input.

| Read FaerieFire's play in Newbiemafia 7, where she was Mafia. I would not expect carelessness on her part at the beginning of this game. I have no information about her, but odds and my gut say Townie. With that in mind, vote: Nauplius |

Wearbear, I’m sorry my choice not to e-mail townies has unnerved you. As soon as the sign up was full, I started the game, and I was rather too tired to send out a seemingly unnecessary extra 10-20 e-mails. However, if the town so desires (as expressed in this thread), I will send a personalized e-mail to each and every townie tomorrow night. |

I find it ironic that all of this startedd from Fairie's sarcastic comment on the lines of lets make a bandwagon. I don't really think he/she is maf. If he/she is maf i'll probably be the first to be lynched tommorow, but so be it. I'm suspicious of Corsato for jumping on a bit of sarcasm, and normally i'd only put an FOS on him, but i suppose its too late for that, so Vote: Corsato (feeling of impending doom that if i'm not killed tonight i'll be lynched tommorow)
