Looks like I am going to be lynched and deservedly so. I simply forgot my role. I know this will sound lame, but it will be confirmed upon my death. I am The Scorpions. That was all I could remember, but somehow I thought/remembered my role being an anti-town role. Well, I just emailed the mod and he resent my role and confirmed that I am pro-town. I have the option of stinging one person each night and this person cannot talk or vote the next day.

That is the truth, but like I said, I don't expect anyone to believe me at this point since I did lie about being Duran Duran. I really thought I was a bad dude and wanted to take out a good dude.

Unfortunately jesternl is right. Sorry if I helped the mafia this day, I honestly thought I was a bad guy. At least mikegoo wasn't lynched, although his claim isn't verified either. The smart thing would have been to get me at seven votes and see if his vote really did count twice.

After getting rid of the Scorpions yesterday, the pop and rock groups wake up to face a brand new day. Two missing though.
Polotet has died of multiple stabwounds. Don't worry too much if you are on the towns side, as he was the Sex Pistols, member of the mafia.
Jesternl, self-confessed Spin Doctors, did not survive that revelation long. On the other hand, he is probably the first one in a mafia game to die of food poisoning. By the way, his role claim was correct.

Two Reasons:

1. His posts often lack a purpose besides the act of posting. He often makes remarks that have little to do with the game or the round at hand or don't say much at all. Examples: the one above and the ones on page 3 ("You all are making my head hurt." and "wow, a lot of votes piled on quickly. I'll wait for a response, or I'll vote later."). I modded the Simpsons Mafia game in which Werebear was the serial killer and he displayed similar behavior (though I do admit that he posted more in that game, and this may just be his style of play).

Wait, wait, wait, don't tell me. I can guess, there's only one way I could be mistakened for mafia, so I assume you are eitehr have a ability-specific investigative role, or you are just a bullshitting mafia trying to get me lynched. Don't tell me what you found out about me, I'll tell you, if the need arises, it will be strong proof foor my innocence becasue there are a limited number of ways I could be mistakened for mafia (and a lot of posts is not one of them).

I'm not sure if your post merits acknowlegement, but at the very least I will remind you that if there is one consistent quality that has emerged to my playing style, it's that unless someone makes a colossal blunder the first few days (or a cop fingers someone), I give the benefit of the doubt, possibly more freely than some. Read other games I'm in. Especially first day, I will always hold off being one of the last few votes, and I have unvoted immediately upon role claim in many others.

I saw no reason not to believe Mike, the role he claimed was similar to the role I held in "R&P mafia I". And what would have happened to me if I lynched him, and he was TLC, a doc? I stand by my decision, you can read into it all you like.

No, don't tell us what you found out IS, if you an investigative role of some sort I'll be able to tell you exactly what you found out about me, this way I can at least prove my innocence to you (i you tell your information first it wil jsut look like I'm trying to make up a story to fit what you found out). But I don't want to reveal my role for no reason. So my point is: do you actually have any evidence against me (besides what's found in my posts, because there's nothing in my posts that can be used as evidence against me). A simple yes or no will do....

This may seem like I'm trying to draw IS out as an investigator. Bullshit. He put himself out as one. He made a post, an accusation, early in the day with nothing to support it besides "good reason to believe". This is his own doing.

I'm waiting to see how IS responds, or if he's going to continue his once a day posting. Might that be a part of his role? It would explain his posting early in each day, but then failing to post for the rest of each day.
