Fine. Vote for the only vocal player. Soon your mafia games will become a textless poll forum like this.

Who do you think is scum
code:

BOB.............12%...Vote for Bob click here
HENRY............8%...Vote for Henry click here
SAM..............0%...Vote for Sam click here
AMB.............80%...Vote for Amb click here

And here it is day one randomers. I have just proven that random bandwagonning can be done another way.

My tactic was to try an bring votes on myself by targetting hard a player with a vote or two already. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for anyone to target Amb whatsoever, so I did it to see what reactions I would get, and took votes upon myself in the process. Now here is the nice bit. Polotet, and now Mackay, suddenly stand up not wanting to join the bandwagon against me knowing full well that I will still probably be lynched. Well WONT THAT JUST MAKE THEM LOOK INNOCENT TOMMORROW.
Town: "Oh - EskimOhNo - was town and we lynched the ugly bugger"
Polotet and Mackay: "Heck we knew he was innocent, so we kept away from that bandwagon so we'd look real good tommorow"

Id stake a good bit of money on the fact that one of those pair is mafia, and Id go as far as saying that Polotet is it...

Unvote amb
Vote Polotet

Now let me clear this up. Amb was purely a scapegoat, or a tool I used to try and dredge out some form of evidence. Should amb turn out to be mafia it is insane fluke, but the odds are against it. The bandwagon and every vote for him is baseless - basic day 1 randomness. And as I said, this is perpetual day 1 mafia unless we do something about it.

Do I hear something. Why yes I do. Its the sound of Polotet cursing. Saying "How the hell did this happen". And thinking "I was going to get amb or EskimOhNo lynched, kill some bastard, and then look BLOODY FANTASTIC in the morning, and now that arrogant Tasmanian is on to me...."

I need some UBB code for a maniacal cackle. This game rocks....

Was out yesterday - looks like it's 6 EskimOhNo, 3 amb, 1 Polotet. Unfortunately, this means that despite whatever plans he might have, the mob gets to him first. Will post a proper death scene once I've sent The Levite and Darkblade their roles.

Well that wasnt supposed to happen. Just to make sure you all pay for immense stupidity with your voting I will lynch myself.

* grabs a metal wires *
* ties around neck *
* throws other end of wire over nearby power pylon *
* a shocking finish *

Well done morons you just lynched a townie.

"I have you now... look at you! Hiding under your desk like that, it's pathetic." EskimOhNo grabbed amb's arm and pulled him up from the floor. "Come out and face the town like a real mafia would!"

He took his prisoner along the hall and threw the door open with his free hand. The mob was there waiting for him. "Excellent. I have our man right here!"

The leader silently placed a noose around his neck.

"He killed quercitron, and now he's hiding scared and... wait, what the hell are you doing?!"

"You know too much... especially for someone who just got here... Is there something you're trying to hide?"

With that, they dragged him away, ignoring his rantings about "plans", and how he had "found the mafia now".

An hour later, the six members of the mob returned, despondant. They had found nothing incriminating amongst EskimOhNo's posessions - nothing at all. It appeared that they had lynched one of the more fervent advocates of St Jose's philosophy, and they entered the church hoping for some sort of sign that his protection still held.

Instead they found two townspeople, whom none of the party could recognise, lying unconscious in front of the altar. Upon waking they introduced themselves as
The Levite and Darkblade, but said they had no recollection of how they arrived in town.[/i]

"There aren't any mafia around here, are there? I remember now... there was something about some mafia... and we were chosen to help?" Darkblade asked as they were heading home. Perhaps this was what they were looking for?

[This is the bit where the mafia kill someone, and the two people above tell me they're here. Don't wait for me to get on AIM or MSN or anything - chances are I'll be at school.]

It was raining by the time the townsfolk gave up on getting information out the new arrivals and they all headed for home. All, that is, except for the Infinitos, who had instead found a suitable vantage point in a nearby dark alley and were watching the others pass by.

"Well, this unexpected turn of events hardly helps us..."

"Told you so. Something always happens... they always win. Though I don't recall anything quite like this happening."

"Ha. Well, I'm certainly not giving up yet."

"So what are we doing tonight?"

"The same thing we do every night. There's no reason to change our plans yet - they've just been... delayed."

"Right. And who are we hitting?"

The Don waved his gun at the entrance to the alley, and fired as Leonidas walked past, hitting him in the chest. "Hope that answers your question...."

Some of the other members of the town heard the shot and ran to the scene. By the time they arrived, though, both mafia had fled.

Okay, here's my deal: The idea for perpetual mafia was good. But, now, i dont know. Every night a person you thought that could have been innocent could now be evil. And if that person was investigated by the cop, will be "cleared" to the town if the cop comes out, and so will be indefinately considered "good." I'm not going to quit the game, because i'm sure mole has already thought this through - but let's just say i'm quite disheartened. That, and the fact that this day is dead.

Quote:

That sounded way more arrogant that i had intended it to. I had/have no intention what-so-ever to quit the game; not only is that disrespectful to the mod, but also being a poor sport. I was just trying to explain my hopelessness that the town has, it seems.

Yeah. Just wanting to clarify that.

I'm past halfway to being lynched. And I don't even understand EskimOhNo's logic. I didn't think he seemed suspicious. He seemed town to me, so I didn't vote him. Instead, I voted someone voting for him. I really don't see where this makes me guilty. I was saying "How the hell did this happen?" when he made that post. I don't find him that suspicious, at least, not worthy of lynching yet, so I don't vote for him. How does this mean I'm evil? His logic makes no sense to me.

The oldest votes the second youngest, so the second youngest retaliates by voting the youngest.
That therefore means I should Vote:Amb and complete the dysfunctional family voting chain
