Invasion Mafia GAME OVER - TOWN WINS

If you all havn't guessed already, I am a carpenter. I built an extension to my house, then built one onto TANSAAFL when there was still a possibilty of aliens being on the loose. Last night I tried to build an extension to Wearbear's house, but he got killed. Sicne we've accounted for all of the attachemtns, that fact that I am a carpenter is is readyily confirmed. This is why I think there is something up with the housing plan; all of the carpenters had houses. This is also why I am even more suspicious of Kingpin; he thinks when I'm mafia when it is almost painfully obvious that I am a carpenter. Also, Kingpin, you are twisting logic. In most games, protecting a investigator is good as they find scum. But since all the aliens are gone, TANSTAAFL is pretty much just a townie. So, according to you, you picked a now useless role over a useful role. If you were a doctor, I'd doubt you'd do this.

One thing that interests me though is mikegoo. His death scene says he is a doctor, but on the first page, it says he was a mason. Is this a moderator error, or was mikegoo a doctor who was in the mason group?

Xerox, you are the only person not to have role claimed. You should do so now.

You know I cannot help but want to protect the town from a possible attack. I did not have a firm reason to believe that we were alien free until today. A third night without an alien attack. It was proposed by others that maybe they had the opportunity to abduct/invade persons bodies. I was erring on the side of caution. Thats why today my statemets were "I don't think that there are anymore aliens".

That I think was the correct play for a Doc.


I find your theory on the housing almost laughable. The housing assignments were done randomly. Though there is a chance that the mafia GF lives in a mansion there would be more of a chance of him living in a cottage or house.

Let's address that claim that the housing assignments were deliberate. I am convinced that our beloved moderator would not make it as obvious as you claim. That would be the result of bad moderation.

You are confusing the facts. When you quote me think about it. "More of a chance that he lives in a cottage or house" when taken out of context yes it looks like I was referring to the current situation. But when you look at the surrounding text, it is framed to refer to the original assignments of domiciles. Meaning that when the mod randomly chose who would live where would have more of a probablility to put them into a house or cottage. I agree with you that the current situation insits that at the least, a 50% probability of mafia being in the largest houses. And like you have stated, I know that I am innocent so that reduces the probability for me to 33%. This means that all the domiciles are suspect!

Crap logic? let's see, I never said that I did not think that you were not a GF. I merely stated that your logic that you could not be a mafia because you were a carpenter is flawed! Crap logic indeed. "A band of two angry carpenters", I dont know how angry are you?

Since I've been asked for a role claim, I'll give one.

I am Xeroxi Baldwin, a freelance investigator. Every night, I can choose to check a player or receive results. I then receive these results halfway through the day. For example, Night One I chose to check Sparticus. Night Two I chose to receive results on him, and got 'unknown'. As a results I felt less empowered to vote him, and did not. Night Three I chose to check Crackerjack. Night Four (with Crackerjack dead) I checked Darkblade. Last night I chose to receive results... and I have just had them sent to me. Crackerjack is innocent, as the death list shows. Darkblade... Darkblade...

Darkblade is mafia.

My first inclination, as always when theres a small crowd left, and somone claims cop, is to suspect the cop. The only way i can see Xerox claiming this, if he was evil, was if there were too mafs left. If that were true, the kingpin bandwagon is ahead right now, and i don't think Xerox would come out and say this, if kingpin were good, so with my theory of Xerox being mafia, i must conclude kingpin is mafia with him. So heres what i think. Either Darkblade, and possibly another, is mafia, or Xerox and Kingpin are mafia. If we had any way to be sure that Darkblade had no mafia friends left, we could lynch Xerox, then if she was innocent lynch Darkblade. Right now i'm uncertain as to whether or not we can assume if darkblade is mafia, he is mafia alone.

You are full of it, xerox. Getting the result midday? What kind of BS is this? Your role claim stinks with the smell of scum. I am now inclined to believe that xerox and KingPin are the remaining mafia. To convince Vege and TANSTAAFL, here is my logic:

There are two possibilites at this point. Eigther I am the Godfather and there are no more mafia, or xerox and KingPin are both mafia. Lets look at these individually

1. Darkblade = GF idea
This is terribly flawed. First off, it has been proven that I am a carpenter. Godfathers are not carpenters. Secondly, this would mean that the initial setup would be of 2 aliens and 2 mafia. Is it just me or does this seem a little small? To paraphrase soemthing in Sebastion's e-mail, all group could make AT LEAST 3 picks. Doesn't it seem rather odd that no group would ever be able to make anymore or anyless place-checks than 3? haveing only two goruops of 2 would be rather unbalanced now wouldn't it? Hence we know this cannot be true.

2. KingPin, xerox = mafia idea
This is a far better idea. If this was the case, it would be 3 mafia, 2 aliens, a more blanced game, and a game where Sebastion's formula could come into play. Also, if there is two mafia, this lynch is critical. Lynch a good role like me and game over, Diego mafia wins. This is the perfect environment for mafia to pull a Lepton's gambit, once they find xerox to be lying, its too late!

And so, I urge the town to lynch xerox. If I'm lying, then the town can easily lynch me tomorrow. If I'm telling th truth, the town wins. A win-win situation.

The problem with that idea, as i stated earlier, is that you could be a mafia with someone else Darkblade. I'm a bit suspicious of you right now, for trying to avoid that possibility. As far as who you might be paired with, my guess would be Tanstaafl.

So you think that the mafia employs scientists? That's interesting, and a possibility. HOnestly, I didn't think of that. Still, in every mafia game I've been in, no two mafia memebers have the same role. Carpenters are generally good people, acting like "mini docs" by indirectly foiling night kills. IT is highly improbable that there would be two evil "mini-docs" Furthmore if we assume that me and TANSTAAFL are mafia then you have the mafia set up like this:

Jason: Mafia Carpenter
Darkblade: Mafia Carpenter
TANSTAAFL: Mafia Scientist

See a problem here? This leaves no room for the GF! I've though things over and decided that it is possible that KingPin is innocent, and that Xerox is the GF and TANSTAAFL a mafia scientist. Both the xerox-Kingpin theory and the xerox-TANSTAAFL theory include xerox, and hence I urge you to follow my lead and take out some scum.

Old Sebastian spits a wet matchstick onto the dirt and scans the crowd.

"We's gonna be lynchin' one of them bastards sure enough today..." He scratches his groin, wipes his palm over his greasy scalp and continues, "I can feel it in my loins."

Darkblade steps out into the street, looking at the old man.

"So, watcha do with that Jasonez last night. I sure hope he died like the sorry little coward he was."

Old Sebastian winks and walks back into the shade. As the old man limps over to the old bar at the top of the hill and helps himself to a man size tankard of rum, Darkblade walks over to Kingpin, derision in his eyes.

"Hey Kingpin, you seem to know a whole lot about mafia and their carpentry skills. Sure you ain't scum yerself?"

"Hey? Where d'ya get your brains, punk? I ain't no scum. I could just as well say the same about you. I'm doctor Al Hamdi Kingpin and you're some sort of carpenter. What if all the Diegos are carpenters, eh?"

"No respectable godfather would have any other occupation, ya fool!"

Xer0x butts in. "What's this about a godfather? I don't trust ya, Darkblade."

The remaining townsfolk, flustered with anger and the heat of the desert, hurl accusations at each other, enraged and furious at the hidden enemy. Darkblade blurts out "Well, look at it this way. There's either one of them left, an' he sure ain't me, or there's two. Xer0x claims to be some sorta cop which I don't buy. If there's two Diegos, he's certainly one o' them. Let's lynch him and see what we can do about the rest of the scum tomorrow!"

"Aye, he smells rotten," nods Vegetable.

"Lynch the cretan," grunts The Levite, after procuring a credible and expensive sex change.

Xer0x flees up the hill, panting in the sun. Rocks, chairs, spit and curses trail behind him as he sprints away. Sneaking a look behind him he is unaware of Old Sebastian teetering about with a drunken grin somewhere to his right. He is also unaware of the soiled boot that trips him onto his face, the other boot that kicks him in the throat, the bottle of booze that smashes onto his crown and the spit that blemishes his sweaty brow as he collapses into unconsciousness.

"Shorry aboush tha good man. Musht have been an axshident." Old Sebastian peers down onto the limp form of Xerox, smiles, swallows a pint of vodka, whistles "somehwere over the rainbow" with nostalgic, if brutal, melody and promptly crumples into a coma. The rest of the town arrive just in time to raise the noose, wrap it around their victim's bruised neck and kick the stool away. Xer0x twitches for quite some time before his lungs fail. The sun sets and night falls.

Xer0x, a mafia spy, has been lynched. He was NOT mafia, per se. He could investigate townsfolk to determine if they were cops/docs/mafia and communicate one secret message (6 words, no punctuation) to the mafia family per day. He could not communicate with the mafia in any other way. In the scenario that he was the lone mafia, the town would have won, because he does not have a kill ability. However, should there have been at least one other mafia, he would be included in the mafia count for the purposes of a mafia win. [Any queries, please contact me via email]

The groggy sun leans away over the horizon as night falls. Fear drops over the town of Old Hollow like a soggy towel. The townsfolk rush back to their dusty old homes and wait.

The Levite sits patiently by the frame of the front door, cowering with a spade in his hands.

Kingpin looks out into the night from his top floor window, shivering and scanning the street for strangers.

Darkblade paces in his bedroom, fervently glancing over his shoulder, clutching an iron pipe.

Dawn slowly begins to arise. Gun shots ring through the early morning air. Screams echo through the canyon. But when morning approaches, Old Sebastian watches four men walk into the town square.

Somone tried to kill me last night...... I hid in the cupboard and survived. I think the gunshot was them breaking through the barricade i had on the door, or some such thing. Not sure, the emails on a different comp, i'll check later. Either the mafs spread themselves too thin, or i got lucky as hell.

I was not attacked. And last night I protected you Veggie. DB, I am willing to discuss the possibilities of your hypothesis' on scum. I am not willing for a quick voting, since it is now 3-1.

I am really perplexed by Xerox. You do not have to take my word for this but, this seems to be both foolish and brilliant. Foolish because he, himself did not survive. Brilliant in that, he has put scum in a position to effectively win the game by making me a target today. Like it or not, we must lynch scum today or we stand a great chance of losing.

I was not attacked. This makes sence as the mafia knew that they had to kill two people in order to win. Both kills failed. I can see why I wasn't targetted, for I was under the most fire last day, and the mafia could try to make me the target of a lynching.

KingPin, you're claim that Xerox and I are scum is absurd. If I was mafia, all xerox had to do is vote for you when you had 2 votes and them boom I win. He did quite the opposite. He pulled a Lepton's on me.

Are you insane? I am a goddamn doc. I can see that this is a lost cause. Town it takes two!

My theory is this. The spy did not know who the GF was and vice versa. Xerox really had not been participating in this game. (lack of posting) He took a chance and got caught. He reacted the way he did because he believed that I was the GF. I am not. This would explain why he took that chance, and why I am being setup the way that I am. It is too perfect that I be the GF. This is a nice little package from DB.

Are there any other possibilities? Sure there are. It is my belief though that DB is the GF. I have been the target from yesterday because of a comment that was so obscure that only "he" found it suspicious. Neither Veggie nor The Levite has been acting suspiciously. Add this to the claim that they were both targeted last night. It was only the accusations from DB that caught me.

DBs quick to lynch reaction nabbed one of his own yesterday and last night tried to rectify that.
