Discworld mafia 2 - Trouble in Lancre Town Wins

Had i been an elf, i would have given Jeep a much better role claim I can think of several off the top of my head. I've read every discworld book other than the last hero. Example: Nac Mac Feegle (or whatever) Tiny blue gnome that can give one person temporary vigilante powers each night. For those who've read Carpe Jugulum this makes perfect sense.

First idea: I think, unless it would be a very bad idea, that anyone with information should come forward because we've had no kill. It would be a waste to go another night and have someone killed without trying to lynch a mafia.
Second idea: We vote for no lynch and hope for a "guilty" reading by our investigator tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the second one unless anyone has information. Sadly, I have none.

I'm not sure I like the idea of a no-lynch...seems unporductive. I mean we got spared last night and now have this new day to play with (but I suppose it just means one more investigation for Beaudoin if we go with no-lynch). Hmmm....

What do you think Beaudoin? Do you have enough to go on to start some sort of bandwagon today? Would you rather have another investigation? No-lynch just seems like the pussy's way out to me. :-p

Voting no lynch would give the mafia another overnight kill for free, and asking any other cop-type rolls to come out just gives the mafia more prime targets.

Yes, but...but...we get through a night without having someone die, so we are going to wait until someone gets killed? We might as well just vote no-lynch regardless of whether or not someone dies at night, that way we can have the entire game rest on Beaudoin's life, and we can sit around waiting for his results with our thumbs up our asses.

No, forget that. Let's not waste our days, if Beaudoin comes up with some handy information, great, if he can deter us from lynching a townie, great, but I'm not gonna sit around and wait for him to lead us by the hand through this game. I want to play this game.

I still think i prefer the idea of Beaudoin's random bandwagon. Heres how it works. Beaudoin compiles a list of all the people he dosn't know about, then randoms.

The problem with that logic, Veg, is that it's basically coming out with an innocent. Remember, I only know the name of one innocent. The first night's investigation was blocked for whatever reason (doubt it was a GF, though), the 2nd night was an elf (Jeep), there was no 3rd night investigation, and 4th was an innocent.

DS has let me known he would be off-line a few days after 20/4 - maybe he can't get to a PC now. Maybe he can. Given the problems in replacing people for this game, I'd rather leave it at that.

Ok, I managed to get a hold of a computer for now but probably won't be able post again after. Why is everyone voting to lynch me? I didn't say that we should vote a "no lynch" but that it was an option. If you read my first paragraph back in that last post then you'll see that I was all for a lynch today. I said that we should take advantage of this sistuation but I wanted to put out all possibilities anyways.
Seeing that I won't have internet access again for a while I'll tell you my role. Well, I can't give you a name mainly because I forgot it and can't get to the e-mail that it was sent on (because I'm not on my own computer). But what I can tell you is that I'm a witch. My power is to "bewitch" someone to hang out with me and tehrefore they can't perform their role that night. I'm guessing it's possible that there was no kill last night because I chose the right person. The only problem is that I don't remember making a choice last night because I forgot to. Though it is possible that DP chose one randomly for me.

Note: This is all from memory. When I get home I'll be able to get it more accurate and to give you my choices (although I must say, I think I missed one or two nights)- my apologies to everyone for that.

I have an idea or two to who that might be. Problem is, that person could possibly be siding with the elves. As usual, I'm not giving names because it might help his claim if he's scum.

I want to hear DS's role-name too, and going with Beaudoin's ideas (that he might be telling the truth but his role would in thoery side with the elves), it seems to me that his role is a bit shady no matter what.

The main witches (if not all!) have been accounted for in this game, so I think the production of a credible name is very important. The whole "I'm not sure I chose anyone" thing is suspicious too. I'd expect that even if DP had chosen randomly, he'd have informed the player what that random choice was.

And Dragon Slayer gets slayed. Was he right in his role claim? More or less. The content of his role claim was reasonably correct, but where he got the idea that he was a witch???

He was GIAMO CASANUNDA, the worlds second greatest lover. His persistence, combined with the fact that he was a dwarf, would surprise anyone he courted (be it man, woman, elf or whatever) so much that they would not be able to carry out their original plans for the night.
