Matrix Mafia Sign-Up (Check Actual Thread

The Agents have returned in full force.

Only the crew of Morpheus's ship can stop them. It is either kill or be killed.

There are two different areas: The Matrix and the Real World. Anyone can be killed in either place. Agents kill in the Matrix; Sentinels kill in the Real World. At night, good guys may change back and forth, but only once. That means, you can't go to the Matrix, then expect to come back the same night. You'll have to wait until next night to go back to the Real World. Agents and Sentinels cannot leave their respective areas. As soon as we reach the limit, I'll send the e-mails of what role you are. You just have to tell me whether you'll switch from the Real World to the Matrix or back. And normal Mafia rules apply.

I was just wondering....
Will a player's 'position' be made known?

This could cause the mafia to be exposed: "Everyone move to <place> tonight; if you remain, then you're mafia." Repeat for other mafia.

Night targeting might be quite hit-and-miss (for the mafia, etc.) I suspect. Although, I suppose that it would negate the need for doctors.

Just a thought or two.

Another question has been eating at me with this setup:

Let's say there are 13 players during a day, thus needing 7 to lynch. It's likely that one or more of the votes to lynch a player located in one place or the other would necessarily be from characters who aren't in the same world at the same time - or don't even have the capability to be there!

What happens then? Do their votes still count? If so, it seems that they *can* cross over - but if not, wouldn't that be a tip-off that someone who's voted for that person is a bad guy?

Actually, my post was only half serious; having cut back on computer use (big time), I'm okay now. Playing in this game won't make any difference.
