Oh oh oh! I think I'm catching on to what SK's been saying. Darkblade wasn't Ne as the post says, he was Neo. The mod did die. (Laugh at me if you want, I thought for the longest time that Ne was a GLer.) I bugged Neo all afternoon to get this thread going, as it looked like he stopped in mid post. He did stop in mid post - because he died. So the post thingy isn't an accident or what not. MJT is the new mod.

On a related note: I kept asking Neo if it was day yet, because I have no concept of time and it's boring if the game you mod is in night at the same time as the one you're playing. Anyway, at one point he told me that something he had been hoping would happen did happen. This must be it. He couldn't wait for Darkblade to be offed, because that would just confuse all of us, and would be the biggest twist in a mafia game since... well heck, I haven't been in any of the classic games. You get what I'm saying though. I'm going to post this in both threads.

yeah, i was bugging him too- he was acting all flippant- as i said. not to mention smug. mucho smug.

think's he's special because he's offed himself. i said so and he kept insinuating that i wanted him to commit suicide- argh.
i'm less angry now that someone else is sharing my annoyance and whatnot.

um- yeah, i think neo did process all the ngiht choices- so can we find out if i did die or what?

also- i apparently have changed roles or whatnot *growls at new mod* so form now on my results will be less cool. but since i got old-role results and new-role results(which i did tell the mod about) we now have another confirmed innocent...
sad thing is i think we already knew and i forgot... or not. but i' too lazy to go back and look for it....

anywho- yeah.

i did say that it would be bad for hte game if he died....

I can say that both my role and what the role does changed.

I'm confused as to what is going on. Did the roles change because that's part of what the Neo role does, or did the roles change because Mark J. Tilford didn't have all the information from Neo? I've seen some statements that implied the first one, and some statements that implied the second one.

Holding off on doing anything 'til the surprise has worn off.

did anyone else experience this sorta change? i mean, it can't be everyone but me, but i think it'd be interesting to see how many "crossed over" -is that fair, though? i mean, if all the people who went from bad to good fess up, then we'll have a much better chance of winning, but i'm not sure if it's fair.. that's kinda like using the wording of the e-mails agianst people.

From what's been said, I'm pretty sure that the roles were completely reshuffled. It was probably only coincidence that SaberKitty's new role has the same powers that her old role had.

Actually, if the role changes were totally random, then there's a roughly 63% chance that at least one person's role didn't change at all. So it wouldn't be too surprising if someone's role, by coincidence, didn't change at all.

Still waiting until we get clarification on DP.

OK- it looks like Neo planned this to me. All the roles were shuffled and then resent to us. That means that now would be a fine time for any former information role to come out. Now that they can no longer get more information, the mafia won't have any reason to bump them...

Also, would it be helpful for everyone to say what they were before so we know what names are remaining? (but Gah, Neo may have been evil and added new ones in)

As an outsider looking in, it would appear that yes, DP is alive, as he said. I really don't see what's keeping you people from going on with the game.
