Three confirmed votes to cause an immediate lynch.
Two confirmed "no lynch" votes to call off today's lynch.
At deadline, if somebody has a majority of all votes cast, and at least half the normal lynch number (that is, two votes for some person, and at most one other vote), that person will be lynched.
Otherwise, there will be no lynch.

Hmm. So it all comes down to this. I'm leaning toward Polotet because he's done some weird things (the role claim, silence for ahwile, etc.) The thing is, if it's not him, I have no idea who to pick, because I have confidence that both Porro and Werebear have the skills to last this long without much suspicion. For the lynch today, I think it's between Werebear (because he supported a kill by me last night) and Polotet.

I'd like to hear final, absolute role claims, and any final information/opinions that could affect my ideas.

Here's mine: I'm a wasp, aka vigilante. I have three kills, but die on the third one. I used my first two on RubberDuck and Crackerjack. I'm the only confirmed innocent. I just wrote my opinions.

Werebear is the one I believe most likely of being the killer, so I'm reluctant to change my vote.

Werebear's instrumentalness (is that a word?) in the lynch of the doc yesterday is the most suspicious thing I can find against any of you.

However, I'm interested to know why you think his claim is better than Polotet's? If there's good logic I'll obviously reconsider.

Well, I know it sounds stupid, but a confident "Blue Bottle Fly" claim sounds a lot better than a bumbling "House-fly" claim. By the way Polotet, is it House Fly, House-Fly, or Housefly?

Also, Porro, do you mean that Werebear knew he was lynching a doc, or are you just suspicious because he went against a claim?

I just checked, and it's Housefly, if that's important to you. I'm not sure why Blue-Bottle fly is any more believeable than Housefly. We haven't had another of either of those roles, so they're both feasible. And I understand what Porro means about Werebear's part in lynching the doc: he was very vocal in favor of it, so much that it's quite conceivable that he's a maf who did believe the claim.

When I set that deadline, I hadn't realized that it would fall on a Saturday. Deadline extended by 72 hours. Let's finish this off.

Actually, if the votes just stay the same until the deadline, werebear will be dead, and we won't have a problem with no-lynching. I don't have time now to think through a vote and logical course of vig action, but I'll probably do it tomorrow.

And with Gaspode's vote, the town drags Werebear out. Unfortunately, there are no cars to be seen, but Gaspode notices an old magnifying glass that had been there for several years. Porro and Gaspode tie down Werebear, while Polotet picks up the glass in his beak and holds it over Werebear. A bright spot on Werebear's back slowly focuses, then heats up, and soon Werebear is in flames.

Werebear, brown recluse spider (spider mafia) - lynched by the town.

Gaspode suddenly notices Polotet's beak. In a flash he takes off and plants his stinger deep into Polotet's side. He then collapses, secure that he has at least saved the town.

Polotet - woodpecker (bug eater mafia) - stung
Gaspode - wasp (vigilante) - killed by exhaustion

And perhaps it's just as well that he never saw Porro move his long tongue out to swallow the dead insect.

Good job to my fellow players, especially Porro, who I give full and complete credit for this victory, especially since I was silent for a number of days (I promise, it wasn't a strategy, just poor time management). And thanks, ralph, for taking this game over and seeing it through.

Stupidly, the thought of being the only town in the game never occurred to me, thanks to some good number-fudging, apathy about the role scheme on my part, laziness, short-sightedness, and sheer stupidity (among other things).

I figured there were more bugeaters, as their entry on the dead list was so small. The only thing that confused me was they didn't kill the last few nights. Good job, bugeaters.

But I just *HAVE* to say... if we had killed a bugeater, there would have been a bugeater, a spider, and a vigilante that died after killing left.

I would have gone for the other bugeater. They would have gone for me. Gaspode would have gone for me, and died... it would have been a spectacular finale.

oh, one other thing? the town had this game in the BAG until the "exterminator mod" wiped out so many townies... of course, he also got the spider GF. This definitely was a crazy game.
