I am a cop. So Neo and I don't investigate the same person, I need your selection before nightfall, or I will post mine. Three of my four 'suspects' have just posted. The fourth is about to be lynched.


There's Werebear/Droopy - possibilty for Judge Doom
Beartalon/Daffy - Weasel or Doom
Jesternl/Baby Herman - Weasel or Doom
JDTAY - possibility for Judge Doom
Neo/Raoul - Weasel or Doom

I tend to believe CP, as no one else claimed Doc; Porro also. Darkblade/Speedy and DMT/Roadrunner both seem believable.

And I just remembered that Neo is not likely to be posting for a couple days. Dang. If he could post, I'd recommend that he investigate JDTAY or Werebear while I check BT or Jester.

Morning breaks but before you can say or do anything, everything goes wrinkly. Yup, you are experiencing a ToonTown flashback of the events that happened during the night.

You see the house of Werebear, and then zooming in, the living room. The owner is muttering to himself: "you know what? I'm the hero... but I can't do a thing yet." Suddenly, the door bursts open and a figure storms inside, with a dip-filled gun, whispering: "You.... you must be hiding that rabbit...." Before Droopy Werebear even gets the chance to reply, the intruder lets him have it full in the face. "Bye bye Droopy... Now for that rabbit...". He starts a rhythmic tapping on the walls and whispers.. " Shave and a haircut..." and before you know it, Roger Rabbit crashes through the walls, triumphantly screaming: "Two bits!" A squirt from the dip gun ensures these are his last words....

As everything goes wrinkly again, you stare at eachother in horror. Even the sun can't take it anymore and takes a nose-dive. You will not have time for a lynching today.

It is night again - choices before Wednesday 2PM.

After the events of yesterday, it is a frustrated town over wich the sun rises. Well, for most, but not for Beartalon. Daffy Duck is no more.

I found out that Beartalon and Jesternl are not weasels. It is as I feared. I'm just a cartoon cop. The e-mails have all said "not a weasle"(sic). DP spelled it that way in every one, though he spelled it correctly throughout this thread. OTOH, no one who came up "not a weasle" has turned out later to be one. Since Werebear is gone, I took the liberty of copying his list from yesterday:

Now what. I'd sort of like to hear from Neo, but I don't know what to expect or whether or not to believe him. The Mason claim came pretty early, so I'd lean toward believing them. Someone gave me this fine dip-proof suit. I tend to believe CP - the doc - because there should be one in a game this size.

So we're looking at JDTAY, Jesternl, Porro and Neo, and to a lesser extent Darkblade. Neo?

BTW, after last day and Neo's succesful charge against Madmax, my suspicions of him have been diminished. However, it could have been a sacrifice, and I still think Neo's role is a stretch. So I'm still a bit suspicious, but not enough even for a FOS yet.

Anyone going to take credit for Quailman's suit?

The obvious conclusion is that Porro was lying, but why? Why didn't the real distributor come forward? If it is Porro, why would he lie about it and then immediately disprove his own claim? Why did the mafia kill off an unconfirmed player?

I used Neo to heal Quail last night. I don't know if that had anything to do with the suit though.

Well, from Werebear's role description, there was a cop, and it's not referring to Eddie Valiant (he was listed as private detective, and had Dolores to replace him), and nobody else has claimed cop-ness.

Werebear wasn't lying, but apparently the writers are a little unhappy with some minor script changes. As I figured it, DP struggled with Werebear's lists or something. Lot of good that does us now.

JD, is there some reason you can give for STILL finding Quail suspicious? Or am I reading it wrong and you're saying you did but no longer do?

I smell the seeds of doubt being planted in a manner only scum would do. There are most likely one Weasel and Judge Doom in this game. One of my suspects has just said that he's waiting for another one of my suspects to speak up.

I was going to leave it at that, but I may aswell explain.

I did not lie. I never said I had a one shot ability. I said I had a flying machine, which I gave to mole. I am an inventor of many things.

I have so far used 3.
The first was the flyer
The second was an ability to tell if anyone lied in the first 10 posts of (the day before) yesterday...no-one did.
The third was the lynch protecting suit. However, I thought Quail would be able to chose if and when he used it. I thus intended it to be something only he and I knew about, which I may be able to mention later if I came under suspicion again.

Whilst I did not lie, I own up to chosing my words carefully, to lead others to infer that I had a one shot ability. I also never corrected those that posted my role description as 1 shot. The reason? I didn't want to paint a target on my back yesterday.

I can't remember who I protected every night, I think I protected Veg the first two nights, but I do know that up until last night I was using Werebear to do all of the protecting.

I really don't think one doc is pushing it. We just got lucky finding Roger so early. There's a surprisingly large amount of regular townies in this game compared to other DP games.

After I brought up the point that having an evil person protect someone might cause the ability to simply fail, why didn't you have a confirmed innocent do the protecting? Specifically, why didn't you use mole (mason), DMT (RR), or myself (mason) last night instead of Neo?
