Night one, local news: Earlier today, an experiment at the university went wrong, and a tank of a chemical called "Blue Mushroom" exploded. The campus has been evacuated of most people. All citizens are instructed to stay away until cleanup is complete.

Not that any of you would know that; you were on campus at the time, and still are. But the other people don't look familiar, and some of them have a menacing look to them.

(Note: not all major characters from CRFH necessarily have roles in this game.)

You wake up to a bloodless new day. Or, at least, ten of you do. It doesn't take long to find out who's missing.

Sniklac16 / Lucifer 666 is found motionless in the middle of a pentagram, shattered into pieces, surrounded by several broken knives. Fluffy will oracle no more.

Skiklac / Lucifer - Fluffy (Oracle)
Each night Fluffy could investigate one person and send the results to a second.

Not too far away is kaura's body still holding a knife like the broken ones. Despite the large hole straight through his chest, there is little blood, as if the wound was cauterized instantly.

Disregard that. Dave lasers people. Duh. He most definatly is pro-town, as he is one of the main heroes. Allthough, if he was a vig, why would he target someone on day one? To whoever the vig is, thanks, but DON'T BE KILL HAPPY.

Here's what's probably the situation:

The mafia are the satanists, Waldo, Steve, and, er, well, Satan. My alternate choice for mafia would have been Mike's mom, mike's brother, and possibly even Blue, but it's apparent ralphmerridew has gone traditional on us.

The three main guys are: (mostly taken from the CAST LIST
Mike Green, artist of misery and manipulation. He's really a good guy, who knows how to use people and manipulate them. Early in the strip, his arm mutated into a tentacle. Pet - the TV remote. Probably not in the game.

Dave Jones - Obsessed with Margaret, who keeps pushing him away due to her fate. Seems like he's always down on his luck - things like falling out a window into a crate headed for Mexico happen to him every so often. Mutation - laser vision, he can burn things with his eyes. he also makes good popcorn. Pet - Chester, his cat and soul mate. Dave was dead for a short while in the fight with Satan until Mike got his soul back, and part of it went into Chester, who was also dead. The two can feel the other's emotions.

Roger Pepitone - the oddest one of the bunch. Likes nonsense contests. Always does strange things, but also has insight. Mutation - has a third eye in his right hand. Also - due to a family curse, can turn into a werecoyote. *sigh* why couldn't I be Roger? Pets - Fluffy, the pet rock, who became the oracle during blue mushroom episodes, and would guide the party if given a hump massage. Also, Pepe, a stuffed coyote, who has no powers that I know of.

The Girls - Marsha, who goes out with Dave. Nice, sweet, girl who goes after old boyfriends with fire extinguishers. No, she just hits them over the head. Also, she's a wicked cook. Her recipes would make a goat yack.

April - kinda airheaded, switches moods, most recenlyt has been in an 'Im done taking crap from other people" mood.

Margaret. The toughest one. She's a gun, knife, and martial arts freak - because she and Satan are going to fight one day, because of a child she's going to have (kind of a Sarah Conner from 'Terminator' sorta thing). Satan's killed all her friends up until now.


Other characters -

Satan - killed Dave, hates Mike with a passion, and kills anyone close to Margaret.

Steve and Waldo - two loser satanists, who have the power of the Devil's Avacado.

Diana - a prostitute, who dates Roger. Her brother, Paul, is a good-looking guy who crossdresses as a prostitute at night.

Blue - Mike's little sister, who goes after what she wants, which is Dave. Mike is VERY VERY protective of his little sister. As in "kill anyone who hurts her"


Bit Parts

Mike's mom, Mrs. Green (I forget her first name ATM) - very rich, she's an extreme control freak and manipulator.

Mike's brother, Louie. Had a few cameos, snitches on Mike to his mom for things like motorcycles.

Roger's twin sister, Lily. Also a werecoyote. Also good at nonsense contests.

Roger's mom - full time werecoyote. Changed one day, and couldn't change back.

Imaginary Wiser Floating April (or something like that) - April's conscience

Ben, um, I forget his last name - Annoying college professor.

That's all I can think of at the moment. The mafia are probably the two satanists, and Satan. They killed Fluffy. Dave blasted one of the satanists, obviously a vigilante kill.

In addendum to Wearbear's list, after the blue mushroom mixture exploded, the gang had to face FBI-turned-robots bent on human destruction. If you havn't guessed yet, this is a VERY strange strip (one of the reasons it is so good). If the FBI are in the game, one of them might be a SK or something.

More ideas for roles: the blue mushroom mixture was initially created by two stoner students, one male and one female. They reoccer regually, so they might be in. Maybe they have a copish role where every night they get visions of something happening that may or may not be happening.

Is it possible that the vigilante role will only kill when he finds scum (or when attacked)? Is it possible that waiting for someone to do something revealing on day 1 is a fruitless exercise?

Most voluntary night 1 hits aren't described as "bold". There's several other choice words to describe it, however, no denying in this case it helped the town. I'd tend to think it was either automatic one-shot, or forced... or possibly a reactive hit? There's an idea - either Dave targeted someone, or someone targeted Dave, and they had a battle, and Dave won???

I doubt the latter. Remember, it was a member of the Satanist mafia that was offed, and the Sanianists already got it's kill in. But it is a possibility that Dave has a role where he checks someone and if they piss him off, he kills them. This could be balanced by say, him killing Mike if he come accross him. It could also be balanced by the existance of his cat. In the comic, if his cat gets killed, he dies as well.
