Welcome to the Signups for a game that's going to be pure hell to mod. Alternate Universe Mafia! In this game, a number of things that are impossible may happen. If they do, the game will be split into multiple possible universes (there may also be other ways this can happen). During the day, things will remain fairly simple as each person must vote the same way in all universes (unless they are voting for someone who is dead in some universes, in which case they may specify a different vote for those universes or just go voteless in them). During the night, however, things get crazy as a choice must be made for each universe (investigative and other roles will be altered to make this more balanced). Questions? Ask! I'm looking for 30 players now, but I can modify it for more or less.

Will there be an upper-limit on the quantity of alternate universes? In which case, how will "impossible" events be prevented from occuring too frequently? Will the game take place in one thread or multiple (one for each universe)?

The kazoooish is really vegetable, who ahs taken it upon himself to sign me up for as many games as he can. Most of htem i just drop out of, i really wish hed stop it. But this one i wanted to join, and joined before he signed me up.

This may prove to be quite a short(er than anticipated) game; If roles are revealed (through death or claimed/confirmed cop), then innocence should not be difficult to ascertain while the player(s) is alive (in another universe). Uncertain death-scenes / "dead (role) list" may be used to compensate, leaving cop-claims and other methods for claim validation (this is assuming roles remain constant). I'm quite sure Polotet will have already considered this though.

A concern may be when a universe is 'won' by a particular group. Perhaps a 'universal dominance' scoring system will be implemented, or only the last universe will remain - if universes can collapse (as asked above) upon a group 'winning' there - (i.e. whoever wins there [the last universe], wins the game).

I suppose we will see soon enough.
