Question. Now, I haven't looked back, so if I'm wrong, I'm sure this will get pointed out, BUT... I (as Gale, TANSTAAFL's role) have never been investigated. Kd has never been investigated. Why are you so, so, SO certain that I'm the GF, and Kd is the goon? First you post several different ideas about who could be evil, and then JUMP to "Werebear's the GF".

I'd be certain you're the GF if you're mafia, because you were investigated. But in your last post, you post WITH CERTAINTY that Kd is the goon. Several times. You make a big point of it, as a matter of fact. You'd rather get Werebear the GF than Kd the goon. It just doesn't fit.

Here's my theory. You're sacrificing your goon to make yourself look good. "Hey, everyone, I'm pretty sure Kd is mafia, then we can nail Werebear tomorrow. I'm sure I will still be alive tomorrow, since I'm so controversial." So we lynch Kd, and sure enough, BINGO! We've nailed the goon (was it Bates who's left?) and you were leading the charge... so Werebear gets nailed tomorrow, and the mafia win the game.

The answer to your question about me was answered by me earlier, Werebear, which I guess you must have missed in all your thorough re-reading of the thread. A little hasty to see only what can be used against me, perhaps. Ah well, understandable at this point in the game, I suppose.

The reason I think that Kd is the goon and you the godfather, rather than the other way around HAS ALREADY BEEN STATED IN MY EARLIER POSTS. Right up until her random last post where she turned on you, Kd has been acting friggin' protective of you all game! If she were Godfather, do you not think she would be a LITTLE more conservative with her votes? You're talking about the person who was voting for Porro! Would a Godfather, ANY Godfather, put themselves in the public spotlight like that? The only POSSIBLE sensible motive I can see for Kd's having voted Porro with absolutely no evidence to back her up, and when the town's suspicion was elsewhere, is to protect you!

Look Werebear, this is a nice little conspiracy theory you've put together here, but if I were mafia with Kd, we could have had you dead before you came in as a replacement. MadMax and I had been ready to vote all along. That's 2 votes. If you were an innocent, and Kd and I are in this together, why the hell did we not end it?

If I were mafia with Kd, this game would be over now, and you would be dead, Bear.

In any case, I can see now what this comes down to. I am incredibly nervous, but my mind is made up. Vote: Werebear and I hope I'm not making a horrible mistake and screwing over the town.

I mean honestly! (Sorry, I posted that, re-read it and realised I had more to say on the matter.) I have stated suspicion of Werebear/TANS and MadMax has agreed with me. This, of course, was before WB came in as a replacement. MadMax and I were on the point of not even waiting for TANS to be replaced and just lynching. If I were mafia with Kd, at this stage one of us could have simply placed the first vote, hoped for MadMax to join the bandwagon, then wait for the other to chuck the last vote on. But we DIDN'T. Instead, Kd voted for PORRO! An impending TANS/Werebear bandwagon, and Kd puts a vote - a VOTE! on a lynch-or-lose day - on Porro! I think the general consensus is that she is scum. So why didn't she try to get poor, innocent Gail Weathers lynched? Answer that question for me, Werebear, and then we'll be getting somewhere.

Thanks to DP for modding an absolutely fantastic game. It's been huge amounts of fun, even though I hadn't heard of most of the movies.

And HUGE thanks to Raist, for being the one who, on night 1, suggested The Wizard Of Oz as my cover role. neither Kd nor I would have gotten this far without his help.

Another note:
I really, really hope this can help me to defeat my reputation as a completely worthless mafia player. I mean, being underestimated is a powerful tool and all, and it's good and stuff - I don't get killed at night because I'm not considered a threat, and I'm not lynched during the day, because people don't think I can lie - but it sucks to be overlooked because you're not good enough. So yeah. IN YOUR FACE, um, everyone!

Yeah - Werebear was absolutely right. I was kinda semi-sacrificing Kd in the hope of a win. It wasn't my original plan till I went through and re-read the thread, and noticed a lot of similarities between the behaviour and TANS's - I figured I could implicate her without having to actually lose her, if we played our cards right. I was hoping for a quick lynch of TANS, but then Kd voted for Porro - we'd had very different ideas about who would make a good target during our night discussions. Luckily this difference of opinions helped give the impression of not working together, and her voting for a mason made it easy to make her look scummy, and to make TANS/Werebear look scummy by association. I knew as soon as Werebear posted his "strangled noises" that he was onto me, using the WOO thing and conveniently neglecting to remember that there were fake roles out there. I panicked once I found out he was indeed the replacement. He had Porro believing him too. I think he maybe voted me a little early. not enough time to sway the town. I ould have settled for lynching Kd, I wasn't going to put myself out there, until he voted me and I was kinda justified in doing so. Nonetheless, very nice work, WB, and bad luck. Good job MadMax and Porro, too. And Kd? *snogs* Look forward to working with you again someday.

This game has been the first one to invade my life to the extent where I was thinking up strategies when I should have been doing college work, hence my posts from college at certain times. Everyone did a great job with their role - and that was why it bugged me, I needed to stay on everyone else's level.

Do you guys have any idea how long it took us to decide on Herbie? *shakes head* Ack, trying to find me a decent roleclaim took a lot of work. We came up with a cop, a townie, a doctor, a mason, pretty much one or two ideas for every role imaginable. And even then, it didn't work as well as we'd hoped... bah.

Thankyou to everyone, this game taught me a lot about mafia. I feel like I've 'grown up', even. Hehe.
