Not sure if this one has been posted yet but...
The Mole Mafia
Kindof like the show, 15 people, and only 1 mafia. Also, there are no cops, instead there will be Guardian Angel Challenges, where players compete for the position of a guardian angel where they can win immunity or add money to the pot or something else. Competing in these challenges are not mandatory, but you might look scummy if you don't compete. Also, the pot starts at $1,000,000 and loses $50,000 each time an innocent is lynched and goes to the Mole's Pot. At the end of each lynch, the players take a quiz, which they just basically state who they think the mole is. If they are correct, they win back $ to the pot. If the innocents win, they split their pot, which could get interesting because you might actually win more money if there is less players. If the mole wins, than he wins his pot.

Hmm, seems rather interesting...
I've been thinking of running a 'Memory Mafia', which requires the knowledge of specific events (somehow), significant ones that have happened in mafia games, so far, sort of recently, like the past 2-3 years or sumthin'. But I really need to take some time off the GL after CM.
Y'know, like 'To get another vote, answer this question correctly:
What role was MNOWAX the 2nd in Keyboard Mafia?'
Or something like that... _________________ Potato. Belgium. Eight. Random Lynch # Mafia awaits. |

As many of you know, once Culinary Mafia makes a flailing run to the end. There is just another game right around the corner when all you GLers are probably well into your school year or work year.
Memory Mafia:
Players needed: Unlimited, the number can be stretched out as far as the waistband of yo undies (lol, jk), the only thing I do ask is that if you are an Icarian member, that you sit this one out. If you do become Daedalian before the deadline, then you are free to join.
Theme: Games of mafia from the past, sometimes the just lately past, sometimes the past of when forum pages were fragmented. The mechanics, the roles and the characters to coordinate with it. The idea is that the characters can be converted to something else, so even the common Nathan Peterelli can be a baddie. As well as the mechanics of the past games, as MM progresses through a constant day and night cycle things about the game might change, who knows, there could even be a choiceblock in there!
Sample Roles: Sometimes mystery is the best thing to prepare you.
Warning: This is an interpretation of the roles and game mechanics so expect anything. _________________ Potato. Belgium. Eight. Random Lynch # Mafia awaits. |

Super Mafia Brothers Brawl
Number of players: However many want to play / anywhere from 12-35.
Status: Ready to post sign-ups as soon as I'm out of TZ Mafia.
Based on the awesome video game Super Smash Brothers Brawl; everyone has a special role. There will be some twists, but knowledge of the game isn't necessary.

Has this been done before? If not, then I'm going to have a lot more work to do then I'd hoped in getting this set up...... |

with Amb mafia dying I will be trying to bring back mafia. I am planning a new and complicated game based on famous detectives like Hercule Piroit and Sherlock Holmes. Its been in the basic planning stage for several weeks but I wanted to wait until Amb mafia was done before I put a lot of work into it _________________ The Classic Blunders:

I'm thinking of designing a game where everyone has some sort of daytime constraint, and failing to follow it will cause hints to be given.
For instance, one person might be not allowed to use any form of the word "suspect/suspicion/suspicious." This could belong to a role of mafia, serial killer, or cop (but possibly the relationship of constraint to role would make sense only to me). If he screws up, I'll make a public declaration -- i.e. "Amb violated his constraint in post #123" -- and everyone else can try to guess what the constraint was and how it relates to his role. People could do it intentionally, for role claims, if they like, since I will make the violation post whether or not the violation was intentional.
I have a couple of ideas for constraint/role combinations, but I haven't worked them all out, yet. I wanted to find out whether or not there was any interest, first. |

I'm away for a while. But when I return I am thinking of running Heroes mafia based on the now defunct TV show. I am yet to decide if it should be the next DeepSouth style game or ordinary.
The mechanics of roles such as Hiro Nakimura (if I use it) could be interesting indeed.
Havent thought through the schema yet at all. So could be really wild, or just plain funteresting.

| I've decided on the game layout, but it mostly requires 15 people without readjusting completely. Just wondering if 15 is overreaching these days? |

It might be over-reaching.
Has anyone thought of asking Mith if we could start a save the labyrinth thread over on scum. I know the reason I play here as opposed to there is the level of deuchbaggery but we could use some new blood over here. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

I'd be interested in joining up, if you need players. I'm also thinking of running a "choose your own role" mafia game. hopefully that one should work with any number of players (although 7 is pretty much the absolute minimum). _________________ Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

I just came up with a great idea for a mafia game...maybe even try a themed mafia. Equestrian wants to co-mod the game so I might let her. So after harry potter mafia and after Zag's game if theres no other game going Ill try to start it up ...Its going to be killer too _________________ What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. |

Yeah i definitely thought you been here a lot longer. Anyways I actually prefer modding games than participating, and even though I've only modded 2 games I'm getting a lot better. If you want, I can co-mod also.
I have a concept in the works for a 'schizofrenic mafia', with every player having multiple roles. Could make the game complex without requiring many players (I like complexity, personally). _________________ I tried apt-get install lifebut it only returned E: Couldn't find package life |

One of my current thoughts is to run a "caffeinated" mafia, where each game day is 48 hours and each night is 24 hours. No more, no less. _________________ Sentran
