  • Bugs:

    1. Subscript lines are truncated on Internet Explorer.
      Still under investigation.
    2. Pagination issue with "filter by posted" mod.

  • Mods:

    1. Make life harder for spam bots by altering the registration form to something non-standard. Possibly add a simple quiz.
    2. Allow users to moderate their topics in some of the forums.
    3. Add "Log in as <starter of thread>" to threads in VSP.
    4. Block some admin powers (ability to see invisible users, ability to read all private posts, etc)

  • Content:

    1. Restore ancient GL threads
    2. Handle the secret forums and Private Threads

    All titles that don't crash the system have been transferred. I believe that there was only one that needed to be skipped.

    Also, MANY people have the title "TITLE", which I suspect is bogus...

    First post edit: Induced by password mod, I suspect (although I haven't even looked at failure mechanism):

    Should cause any edit to fail with the message defined in lang_main.php

    If needed for the password mod and we want moderators to be able to edit it, that section should probably read:

    an asthetics (major sp Revenge most foul!) category should be added therre (if this belongs in anotyher thread, slap me, this i the frist thread i clicked on.

    homepage, there is now a blue bar on both sides, instead of te traditional black all the wat right.

    obvioously the icons for php, and the colour scheme.

    the new server (although im sure its supper l33t) is considerably slower, is it lacking the optimization on the forum code? (sometihng jeep mentioned once when scum was going slow, i have no idea what this is or what it means Revenge most foul!)

    but thumbs up.


    OH! the need to log in twice problem is present as well (i used toi ge tit on mafiascum)
    i tried using login button at top, login to check pms at top, and login at bottom, all require me to do it twice before im logged on.

    WHICH rather annoyingly, will remove all last post icons, due to the double login, i'll be fine from now on, auto login has been clicked, but a lot of users wont be using the auto login feature.

    EDIT :

    the notify me when a reply is posted is auto ticked for you, i always forget to unlcick it, i've received numerous annoying e-mails from the testing of the software before i got them all unticked. very sickening.

    True. You may recall we changed the thread dates back on UBB to get the effect of sticky threads. Apparently the y3k bug caused those threads to be dated as 1969. I see no problem with it.

    As per the attached image, I was logged in and browsing OT, but it did not list me as browsing.

    There was a real reason for asking this. It should represent the thread your in. When viewing the forum index, it shows the level as 'The Grey Labyrinth Forum Index'. When viewing a forum, it shows the level as 'The Grey Labyrinth Forum Index -> Feature Requests / Site Problems'.

    When you view a thread, it breaks off this format, and stays at the forum level. I can't remember whether ubb did this or not...

    Otherwise type your post in Word, run spellcheck, then copy-and-paste.

    The green invisitext bug isn't the only bug relating to how posts from the old forum work in the new one.

    There also seems to be a bug in how the code tags show up: In pre-switch posts with code tags, the stuff in code tags isn't fixed-width. See for example http://www.greylabyrinth.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?t=3713&start=200 and http://www.greylabyrinth.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?t=5714&start=0 .

    Also, you know the old quote tags -- with the little HR's in them? They show up fine, but if you click on "quote" the markup you see for the quote tags is the HTML markup, not the UBB/PHPBB code markup.

    The conversion from old quote boxes to new quote boxes is not complete. The tags that go {quote}{/quote} are converted nicely, yet the ones that say {quote=NAME}{/quote} show up as the old quote tables.
