Before the game begins, everyone is sitting around. All the bachelors are talking amongst themselves, and before they know it, it's time to begin. The pretty young bachelorette is just about to ask her first question when the power goes out. And then gunshots are heard.

Sadly, in the "night," Bachelors #42 and #22 are killed. They were sweetwater and Madmax, respectively. Sweetwater was a doc, now with a bullet in his head, and Madmax was a cop, although he now has an axe through his abdomen.

Luckily, some of the remaining players decided to take the next logical step, lynch those who they find most suspicious.

Happy Day 1 Lynching, 10 votes are needed!

Bummer of a way to start a game. (Didn't the last Courk game, Clue Mafia, start out with a cop and a doc getting zotted.)

In fact, I recall that DP carried out one of those crimes. Not only that, but back when I was in school, there was this Kees hond in the neighborhood that liked everybody but me. No, really, it would let everybody else at the bus stop scratch it behind the ears, then walk a wide circle around me. Vote: Kees Hond for being a member of such a breed.

I hate the early part of a Mafia game. Two players died without ever having played and now someone will probably be lynched for no good reason.

Ahh... the first one in this game to reply and vote against the person who already voted against him or her. You're probably getting nervous, Chuck, aren't you? I see it. By trying to defend yourself on the first nomination you get when there is a high requirement to lynch is almost always hasty and stubborn. I hypothesize you're either overly protective, or a member of the mafia.

ref, as Ant has explained many times, the old forum was UBB, and it was horribly, even dangerously coded. Not only that, but it took up a lot of space, hence the frequent prunings. The new forum is phpBB. It has better coding, more features, and takes up less space. That means less pruning and more ability to look back on old threads. It also means less crashes, and less "Picture thread 2, picture thread take 3, etc." This is hardly the final design, but it was important to switch to the new forum ASAP, and once it looked somewhat like the old one, it was switched. There are many threads discussing features and styles. Check the Feature Requests and Site Design forums and give your input. We can't make you happy until we know what you don't like.

I liked the old one. I don't know how dangerous, or suboptimal or badly coded it was. I just know I liked it. I didn't need to get used to it. With this thing, everything is a problem. But this is Dating Game Mafia. So let's go back to it.

PS: Picture thread 2 was due to a crash of glpics.com which has nothing to do with the forums.
