After thinking about Mackay's request about Quagmire's title, I have decided that "anything mathgrant-friendly" would make a GREAT title for him!

Most of us have text avatars, those with graphics however, seem to also have text avatars, these appear as alternate text.

For example, Coyote has a single '.' as the text in his profile, in the alt-text of his graphic, a single '.' shows up.

Though harder to make out (since it is opening and closing bold tags which can only be viewed when viewing the source of the page) the same thing occurs with Taflinel.

Any ideas why?

You have to enter some text or phpBB yells at you. So you just use something random and non-intrusive.

Mackay's title has the ":_" but mine doesn't. At one point it did, so I know it can work. Its not as cool if its always shown.

Since "Quagmire" means marsh, how about...

Quagmire
Soft and Wet
or

Morass
or

Mizzy Idiot
Which is a bit of a stretch to "Missy Elliot"

or

The fen there
sounds like "Defender".

or

Swamp Thing
or

McDuck
as in The Walt Disney Character

Thanks for the title, Lepton. I hope she doesn't have a problem with it. (If she ever comes in here again.)

BTW, I think she'd like one as well, a title that is. You might start thinking about one now and ask her when she returns. Just a thought

Hey, jedo, I HAVE come back. And not only am I not offended, but I'm honoured to be part of your title! And you were right... I would like one for myself, but I have no idea what it should be.

Glad your back zK, and I'm glad you like the title. I hope this return isn't a temporary thing. Anyway, I'll try to think of a title that you might like.

And I vote 'morass' for Quagmire.

For Vinny: Glad to be Galahad?

On a side note, it just occurred to me that Galahad rather inappropriately anagrams to "had a gal"....

oh yah, to explain the title, I used the word "promiscuisious" in some gler sheep game that wordcross wanted to start, in place of "promminent", as a joke, see?

but old Samadhi there thinks it's funny to give me that as a title. He's friccking hilarious aint he? ha ha ha!

anyhow, the word does not have to have sexual innuendo or sexual connotation. it could be used to mean i like everybody, no prejudice, etc? see?
